Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade

It could be possible for ethereum to reach $200 after the upgrade, but we need to wait for a while. I think ethereum can reach $200 if there is no upgrade at all especially if the upgrade comes after the bull market happen. We already know that the bull market is not happening right now and I don't think that now is the right bull market because the price does not increase higher.

Off course etherum can reach more than that, if you think of little long term then you will notice the potential. If anyone thinks of smart contracts it's because of eth.

ethereum has its potentials and has been on a bullrun and has given an All Time High of more than a thousand dollar and it was yet to be upgraded and no announcemnt was made on the upgrade of the ethereum blockchain as at that time. Now there is an upgrade ongoing and more in sight and that i believe will see ethereum price going about the said mark of 200 dollar

The Constantinople and St. Petersburg network upgrade were implemented a few weeks ago, and the price didn't react to it. The next update is called "Serenity" (Ethereum 2.0) which will make ETH go Proof of Stake (PoS), but the ETH team haven't released an official date for this upgrade. We might see some price movements when Serenity is implemented since it's a bigger update than the other two, but I think the price will be way higher than $200 by the next update arrives.

Based on previous network upgrades, The Constantinople and St. Petersburg, ETH did not show a price reaction at all. In my view, this is influenced by the movement of BTC prices and funds entering ETH (because we know the dominance of marketcap held by BTC) this affects other crypto markets, including ETH. In the next ETH network upgrade, Serenity can be implemented, most likely ETH can rise up to $ 200 with the condition ETH price not falling back to double digits or being able to survive in its current position. And even then it is supported by the condition of the crypto market which is slowly improving from bearish.

I think that goal this year is possible. LTC has increased by nearly 300% in a few months, and we will still wait for the next is ETH. It go around current price too long.

Possible, since the bitcoin already above $5,000 and above 50MA on daily time frame. As long as Bitcoin will still hold it's support, it's so easy for ethereum to reach above $200, it's plus fundamental on ethereum since the update. Check out the chart, for me, once the resistance (around $180) broke, it's so easily to reach $200.

Even without any network improvement on the ethereum network, $200 is a price too small for a coin like ETH. I can't say the upgrade you are talking about, I thought the Constantinople was already done. The proof-of-stake, am not sure if they will be switching to it from proof-of-work.

Why not? $200 is easy to reach for the ethereum because the rising price of the ethereum is fast and ocne it increase a little it continue for sure until it reach again thousands of dollars like year 2017. Even ethereum not upgrade it will rise the value because they have a lot of investors who support to this coin.

That is a very possible thing to happen, now ethereum prices are at 160USD rates and a few weeks ago even ethereum prices have reached 180USD. so when you say 200USD then that is a very possible thing to happen. even personally I am very confident that ethereum prices can reach 300USD. we'll see because time will continue and we will see results.

It is almost impossible to hit 200$ price tag before the upgrade in my opinion. Eth has the potential to go over the 500$ easily but some problems exist on the current system.

Anyway, ethereum can touch 200$ easily if btc make a movement to up and ETH need to cross next resistance level on 180$. So if we will see a positive scenario by BTC then we can see-eth also touch $200 even more. Thanks
