scams are already going on everywhere in crypto world, and that is what many countries are trying to prevent by banning bitcoin in there country, intending to curtail fraudulent acts that may be detrimental to the well being of the citizens. how about some fake sites that use to request for wallet address and hack ones account?

Yeah they ban it out due to that matter but haven't they realized nor do look back that even on traditional fiat system these frauds and scams do exist?

As long theres money is circulating or involved,we cant really get rid of this global issue.Scammers are everywhere that's why as an investor you should know on how to be aware into these things.

Scam is happening not just in cryptoworld, this is the problem ever since before the entry of cryptomarket. It can't be resolve because its the nature of people to become greedy, if there's a new kind of investment for sure scammers will study that and start scamming people. Cryptocurrency is vulnerable for that, no excuse and I believe its now time for every investor to know if the project is a scam or not.

To be honest, there are a lot of people getting scammed every year, and that is just the people that don't even know what cryptocurrency or Bitcoin is.

Yes, what I am saying is that cryptocurrency scams are not a global issue since scam is an issue long before cryptocurrency even exists. I don't think Scam is coined for that in the past but I think even before that term is coined, scam is everywhere. We should not say that it is the main problem of cryptocurrency since there are a lot of things more annoying and more concerning that this one. If you know how to identify them, you can prevent yourself from being scammed.

Before investing in crypto, everyone needs to realize that it is a decentralized asset and therefore you are on your own. On the other hand, if you are investing in some stock or mutual fund, then the SEC will make sure that there is no insider trading or fraud. Such an option is not available with the cryptocurrencies.

Crypto scam is really global issue so i think they need put some regulations especially that to some project...Its easy to make or build fake project i hope they look about that. The best we can do right to avoid to be scammed is to be careful anytime and be vigilant.

Government arent ready to regulate it because they cant see any rules that they should imply for the smooth process of regulations and also they dont want to regulate it as of now because maybe they cant see any threat using cryptocurrency despite of lots of scam project arises.

This is rampant crypto scams suffered by many. For those newbies must be aware of this issue in crypto world. Not also to the new comers but also involved in crypto to be cautious to avoid this issue.

It`s like that, I totally agree with you about people, some people fall even on the simplest scams, they don`t even do basic research where they invest, they do it without any thinking, and when someone invests like that most likely that person will be scammed very often.
Everything connected with cryptocurrencies is a global thing. Cryptocurrencies don`t have borders like fiat currencies!

The government understand that there's more stupid people in crypto because they also got misinform and tempted to make money in an easy way.
Their responsibility is to regulate the market to minimize scams because we really can't expect that people will all be cautious with regard to the inherent risk in investing.

The scam is a common word in every sector. From eCommerce, trade to crypto everything has a negative side which is a scam. Crypto one of the big financial asset in the world, so scam issue obviously a global issue. You can't stop it, but if everyone stays aware, then we can reduce it in number!

The fact is that earlier cryptocurrency fraud only spread to ico companies that became very popular after 2016.  But as the interest of people in the cryptocurrency market increases, many find a way to abuse the capabilities of the cryptocurrency and often do so to the detriment of the state.  I think that government agencies will very strictly fight this.

That's a Global issue, and it is increasing over time. We have common issues here in our country; wherein some groups encourage to invest their money in Bitcoin with a higher return. Guess what? After getting the money, they ran away. If some investors will let other people invest for them without knowing that it is a scam, then the problem is them. People want to gain, but they do not want to learn. They lack of initiative to study on their own so that people will not fool them about investing in the crypto world.

Why not? Crypto currency is widely accepted to the people for doing invest, making more profit and trading by doing analysis etc. I think people all over the world almost know about it and there some people connected and some aren't.

If any project do scam after their tokensale and already invested a huge amount of money by investor then the whole money or investment will go in vain. A project isn't for a country only, it has its own roadmap to promote their project widely.

Though scammers are everywhere. We need to keep an eye on the project deeply where you think to invest.

When dealing with Crypto, you must accept it with always having scammers around you. Because trading with Crypto is an anonymous transaction, this has the disadvantage that you will not get money back when you are scammed.
Also Crypto is not accepted in some countries so you will not be protected.

There's a lot of scams even if Cryptocurrency is not yet introduced, more so now that we take away the third party, PayPal, credit card, banks, and other online payment processors,  we all know that Cryptocurrency is peer to peer, there is no third party it works on trust.

People will manipulate people to trust them, they will set up dubious projects to gain their trust, the use of dummy account has been very rampant, we really need regulations and compliances.
