Hey TheNineClub, I've just posted same info as in your post, but a bit more informative and usual for this topic style. On one hand this looks like a partly plagiarism, on the other as an additional info. What do you think I should do - keep my post or delete it? Or you can take some info from my post and edit yours. And I will delete or edit my.

Nah man, this is an open discussion, no need to delete or edit your post I'm glad you did because you put it in a more informative and user-friendly format that I think should be the standard for this topic. I just posted the bare-bones overview for anyone that is interested because it's 2 weeks away and I was in a hurry XD With your post we have the divisions listed, avenue, date, time, and poster, and for any die-hard fan or a casual, it's a better go to option to check what's on that days bill.

@eaLiTy. I do not trust Dana on dowplaying Jon Jones to fight Francis Ngannou. The skeptical me thinks this is the only superfight in his mind and he is beginning to look where he can put organize this in a full stadium hehe.

Also, Bones Jones is ready hehehehe.

JBJ looks like he put on some quality mass here. It reminds me of his powerlifting transformation from a couple of years ago (or a bit more). I think this time around he is again using strength training (powerlifting) to achieve mass, however, I am not sure how much of that mass can stay when he starts a training camp that naturally drains you and drops your weight. Maybe he will need a bit more time to gradually transition to HW.

Yup!  And with Jones’ skill set and if the books lay something like close to 2 to 1 for him I’m def taking it.  Miocic’s mistake after R1 was he felt like he needed something to happen right away.  Jones can make his opponents fight in his own pace.

The only fight i want to see is Jon Jones fighting for the Heavyweight belt and the mistake i think Stipe Miocic made in this fight is that he came into the fight lighter and if he thought about going with the same fight plan at a lighter weight was not the best decision as Francis Ngannou was able to stuff the take down and then over power him in grappling.

Dana White does not seems to be interested in putting that fight together, he was mocking Jones to move down in weight when reporters asked about the match up and these tactics are used to irritate Jones to sign the contract without his demands fulfilled. For MMA fans this will be the biggest fight but i doubt whether it will attract the attention it needed from causal fans.
Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is set for July 10th and if McGregor fails once again he might retire  .

@ene1980. It appears uncle Dana does not want to negotiate with Jon Jones on Francis Ngannou’s next fight. I speculate that Jones might be asking for a similar amount of payment as Conor McGregor hehehe. Jon will not get this for more money than what is being given after he destroyed his own reputation.



It doesn’t appear that the negotiations between Jon Jones & the UFC are going very well.

Following Francis Ngannou‘s victory over Stipe Miocic to become the new UFC champion, Jon Jones immediately reiterated that he would be more than happy to step up and be Ngannou’s first challenger on the condition that he is paid more money. After clashing heads with UFC President Dana White about the reason for his request for more money, Jones ended his tweeting spree with some parting optimism. He stated that the UFC would present him with a proposal this week and that he was trying to give the UFC some benefit of the doubt as he awaited reception of the offer:

“I am going to try to remain faithful. There’s still time for the UFC to do the right thing. I am supposed to be seeing a fight proposal next week. Fingers are crossed. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for everyone involved,” the tweet reads.

One could only assume that Jon Jones has already received the offer one day later or, at the very least, had some other unproductive dialogue with the promotion. Otherwise, the following, since-deleted tweets released Monday came unprovoked and out of nowhere:

“Please just cut me already. You would rather have me around and treat me like shit. I swear the UFC industry has been nothing but depressing for me. I feel like my wings are being clipped. Just fucking let me go. What type of weird shit is this, obviously the boss hates me. Let me take my business elsewhere.”

It does not take a literary criticism panel to sense the peak degree of frustration found in the tone and bare content of Jones’s tweets. The question is whether or not the tweets signify both the beginning and end of his negotiations to fight Francis Ngannou or if this was just a new wave of venting without any new developments or dialogue.

^ Meh. Jones also playing his cards. Does anyone know of another heavyweight that can match Ngannou right now? If none, then UFC management could grant Jone's demand (or closer to it after more negotiations). If that fails, I could see a Ngannou-Miocic trilogy as Stipe's last fight. He could retire a champ or someone beaten by one of the best which isn't bad.

I see. I had no idea because I didn't watch any of the post fight conference/interviews. Yeah it would most likely end up like Rozenstruik. Much respect to Lewis but he doesn't have what it takes to dethrone Ngannou. I really can't see him beating the champ on the ground or on the feet.

Actually, that grappling exchange did not turn out bad for Stipe. Sure, it was a single leg takedown with the head being on the outside (that's super hard to finish unless you are DC or Brock Lesnar), and he did not set up his takedown with striking beforehand so that it is not that obvious, and that was one of the major reasons why Francis was able to stuff it, but when Francis got Stipe's back he started reverting back to his old self and exerting a lot of energy on strikes that Stipe was able to withstand. After they got up Francis was breathing heavily and that's when Stipe should have increased the pressure and volume to take advantage of his lowered stamina, but instead, he just waited for Francis to recover. I doubt that was the gameplan, more like there was something off with Stipe from the start, his head was not into it.

I couldn't watch the miocic-ngannou fight live as it was on early monday morning in my timezone, but in the highlight videos that i watched it looked like that ngannou was way more patient than in their first fight and therefore not missing so much wild swings.
So he was still fresh in the second round and could hit miocic with a nice jab first before knocking him out a little later. Great fight overall and also a good performance of miocic who survived way longer than most of ngannous opponents.

Now we will see if a fight of ngannou and jon jones happens. Fingers crossed.

That is why I'm having doubts that Miocic will win this, Francis Ngannou is a learning athlete and from his previous matches even though it is all in the 1st round I have seen tremendous speed and change in his style but then again Stipe Miocic pretty did everything he could but Francis Ngannou outsmart him I really think that Stipe just thinking it will be just like the last time but Ngannou just calmly waited for the right time and now with a great deal on his wrestling, Francis Ngannou has shown his dedication and come back as a worthy champion

With the sour relation Jon Jones and Dana White has i do think that the next challenger for Francis Ngannou will be Derrick Lewis but i remember their first fight and that was the worst fight i have seen in MMA as both fighters gassed out and was not throwing any punches and it was literally a Staring match than a fight .

Francis Ngannou has shown his dedication and come back as a worthy champion

Lets see how many title defense we will see from Francis. It was a really good win but i thought he was gassed out as his mouth was open in the first round after the grappling exchange and if Jones is his first challenger then he will exploit his weakness.

Jones has much less weight and muscles than Ngannou and I can't see him as better fighter no matter how much muscles he puts on.
Ngannou improved so much in past months and he is a like a rock.

They have to face against each other to prove that Jones is a better fighter than Ngannou, I mean if it is all talk the there isn't anything worth betting on, decide inside the ring. If it ever happens though, I would put my money on Ngannou as I believe that he really did improve and most of the time, the people that talks the most are the ones that lose the match.

Fighting is not having huge muscles and rock hard body, these huge muscles will burn more oxygen and they will burn out within two rounds and  Francis Ngannou is nothing special in that regard. Jon Jones is not known to be a knockout fighter who looks for one big punch but he always wins fight because of his tactical approach and he always fights different with each opponent and hence no one can figure his fighting style and so is the reason Jon Jones is still undefeated and regarded as the best in the history of MMA.

If the fight would take longer than the expected outcome he wants then we can see a very tired Ngannou, I think that he has change base on his match over Moicic, but we can not say if he can wrestle in an extended time of more than 4 rounds or so, but I think he clearly has a style to finish the fight more quickly, it might be because it might exposed his weakness base on his first with Stope Miocic.

I don't know if how many title defenses he can win but if he keeps wining on the 1st and 2nd round he might be able to do it, and getting another title shot could still be possible I guess.

I was very impressed with Abubakar Nurmagomedov last weekend. As you guys probably know, hes known for his ground game, and hasn't really had a chance to show off his striking. Well, I thought he looked pretty sharp last Saturday, and had a real pop to his shots. Obviously, I think most of us had him winning the fight, but I doubt many of us had it in that fashion, I most entertainingly didn't think the fight would stay on the feet as long as it did.

As for Ngannou, and Stipe; I'm glad Francis' did it in the end, I do feel for Stipe as hes been a brilliant champion. I'm think there will be a third fight in the near future, and I'm not sure who takes it. Stipe does seem to really come back stronger each time, and it'll be an interesting fight.

Unlike the Connor vs Poirier fight which I'll be honest not looking forward to it like the first or second.I just don't know where Conor is at right now, and I'm starting to think that nice guy conor doesn't help his cause. Poirer talked about how the war of words can throw a fighter off on The Joe Rogan podcast.
