Let's all just be optimistic and positive on seeing bitcoin hit this price, it will be really hard for must people that got rekt after buying bitcoin in ath price in 2017 to get convinced in this situation whereas some has learnt different lesson from those that bought during the ath period in 2017. I think we should just take thing step by step and see what the future has for crypto in general.

I am planning to start the local courier business in my city. If this happens i will sell all my bitcoins and spend that coins on my business.
Hope this time bump will push the next by run to reach 10k USD at least.

Here we go again with some unimaginable expectations rather than waiting for situation of things to turn out with the influence of speculators working on empty predictions without considering the practicability of such prediction. Eventually, the price of bitcoin might reach such length but it does not remove the fact that there is need to be realistic on prediction of price. $20,000 is a long way to go...

It's pretty hard to predict such things since the price could skyrocket in a few weeks to 10.000$ and from there continue very quickly to 20.000$. Personally I think it will take about a year or more for it to get there because I can't see the price being 20.000$ at the end of 2019 even tough that is not impossible. As I said before, anything big could happen in just a matter of weeks right when no one is expecting it and that's why it's always hard to predict when bitcoin is going to reach a certain price.

anything that can happen even if the price of bitcoin is now almost $ 6K can in the future after bitcoin do halving can be $ 20K or even more. but remember even though there are certain positive things there are also negative things like for example bitcoin is not famous anymore and also replaced by a similar cashless application maybe the price of bitcoin will decrease further from $ 6k

This has happened before. I don't think if Bitcoin would repeat the same path and history again.
If Bitcoin would rise continuously with at least a thousand or more every two weeks, $20k wouldn't be hard to reach by the end of the year. Time will tell but if there would still be more massive adoption, Bitcoin would surely soar higher more than what we speculate.
Well there are only 21 million bitcoins and it sure seems like more investors are getting piqued interest, I'm getting a bit excited about it myself. Exactly. The most basic explanation: The supply is limited and the demand is growing. There is only one way for bitcoin to go. It is up. It will exactly follow the same pattern which happened in 2014 and then 2017. Every time Bitcoin makes its new ATH and falls down, it will come back with more believers&investors and dwarf the old ATH. This is physics. Bitcoin is limited supply, Dollar is not. It is inevitable. When we enter the next mania, you won't be able to see $20k on the charts just like you can't see $1k right now. |

20,000$ is not close yet, i think this will happen only next year before halving, and bitcoin will value more because is limited supply and the demand is high. I think next year will be possible a new ATH.

Bitcoin is definitely on its way to $20,000 but i don't think its happening as soon as we expect. Bitcoin adoption is really slow and we really need massive adoption for us to achieve what we expect. Bitcoin will definitely move to $20,000 but no one knows when this will be. Can be sooner or later.

I see it difficult that we can reach those prices, but bitcoin already showed us in 2017 that it is possible! I think the fundamental factor will be the institutional capital, but I believe that for this year we will reach at least 10,000

We should stop trying to predict bitcoin price and focus more on getting it adopted worldwide. If we make bitcoin adoption our number one priority, its price will get to $20,000 with so much ease and beyond.

Every time when the price is growing, no matter how little, people start to dream about Bitcoin reaching 20000$ again. Yes, with Bitcoin is everything possible but still I don't like such exaggerated predictions. Look at the market, make some good analysis and make your predictions in some realistic framework. We still have very long way to 10000$ and 20000$ seems like utopia at the moment.
Oh come now, if you've been here for multiple cycles 20,000 is not some pipe dream and coming quickly. I'd be surprised if we not at 20k in under 2 years. In 2 years I think it's pretty much possible to reach $20k, my target deadline is end of 2020 though. But if it doesn't reach within 2 years then I'll also be surprised. I prefer long predictions over short unrealistic predictions. Just hoping for the best, more power to bitcoin. V |

Yes, it is right that we are impossible to predict the price of bitcoin. very rapid price changes make the price of bitcoin very possible for a rapid decline and increase. we will never know what will happen because the change in the price of bitcoin is very easy. even the changes that occur can be so significant in just minutes. it can happen tomorrow, next Sunday, next month or next year. everything can happen so quickly and unexpectedly. |

Let the people communicate with their predictions cause they are just optimistic enough and giving them boosted. Even though there is only a small percentage that it will turn back into that price but we are still good, we are living already the to the community which has full of speculations. |

This will actually be very difficult to predict, given that when bitcoin is experiencing a correction, it is quite severely affected by altcoins, most likely in Q3 2020 or Q2 2021 it may be close to that |

We're going into cashless society and that article is really interesting. The points that it has given on how we'll shift into that moment pointing out the changes and upgrade that countries and institutions are doing.
People are looking to the current price of bitcoin and its still intact with the past bear market. They don't consider on how it is possible for bitcoin to move gradually back to the top and never look at its scarcity.

Just like last year bitcoin can once again in the way to hit 20,000 figure but with this time its value will be stable and then the other coins will also move because when the demand rise for them the value become double and triple in the coming days.
We have seen that in the few days bitcoin shows a clear graph moving ahead and now bitcoin is traded $5,709 right now so almost it will hit 20k in the coming months may be in December of 2019.

I think that it is pretty remarkable that Bitcoin hit the high that it did in 2017, especially given all the shit that had been thrown at it up until that point. Of course, we all know that it was hype that took things that far.
I don't imagine that it will hit 20k anytime soon, but we will continue to see volatility across a number of coins with some sideways action for the next year or so.

If the price will continue to increase, there is a good chance that we can hit the 20,000$ bitcoin price by the end of the year.
Though it is somewhat very challenging as the last price of bitcoin weren't able to touch the 20k$.
Once it will happened, this will be another achievement of bitcoin which is very interesting to follow. But I wonder also if the holders will keep on holding once we reach the 20k$ price as it is very tempting price already to dump especially if you have bought btc in very low price.
