$10 is relatively a small amount. Is your capital investment ($10) fixed or are you planning to increase it over time ? Or may be invest on a monthly or regular basis ?
Anyway, If the amount is less that $100 then major part of your investment should be in bitcoin. If it is somewhere $100 - $500 then you should diversify your investment into 50%-70% in bitcoin and the rest in top coins like ether, EOS, ADA, Tron, BNB etc..

With 10$ investment you may have a chance to learn how the things go. From those 10$ you'll spend most on fees, especially withdraw fees, if you don't know what to do.
The chance is big you'll invest in a coin without future.

What coin to invest in? None. If you have to ask what to invest in, then better don't. Better do your own research and try to find the project(s) that worth your attention and your money.
Never invest based on what others tell you over the internet. You don't know if they advertise a coin (or a product!) to help you or for their own benefit. Never trust anyone (not even me!)

10$ is a very small amount but its good for new users. you can try some sandbox trading platforms for practicing your basic trading skills. there are many sites available for new users to get their trading skills. some sites you can try are altcoinfantasy.com and coins2learn.com their sole purpose is to teach you how to trade and they even give out rewards and cryptos at the end of your lesson.

$10 would be a good start for you as you begin with trading. Investing with a huge amount without further knowledge about the basics of trading and investing would be a big risk. If you're used to it then you could start investing better to gain higher in the future.

It is a good start to learn try those crypto that is already well known like ETH,Dash and LTC.
You should stay away from those new crypto or fresh from their ICO ,
Most of them tend to fall and it is hard for them to get back to their initial price.
You should learn from experience and make your own decission.

Rather than spend $10, might better if you consider doing trades on demo account first.  By the time you gained some knowledge, surely you will now know how much can be put on your first real live trading.

Don't have an update if some of the reputables exchanges still have that feature but since it's demo, it doesn't risk any money. Therefore you can try that at any sites* given it has a good reviews since the whole system is just the same.

Also changed your mindset about getting suggestions or advices on what coins to be traded. It's like suicide if you will just follow without any knowledge.

don't expect that you can successfully trade with that amount and can make a profits, because it's too little mate which is it will be use only for fees .in fact 10$ is not enough for minimum deposit if you're looking for good trading site.  So i suggest increase you capital first and make a search so that you can easily finnd a good trading site that will fit on your plan and capital.

It sounds like you're looking to throw $10 into an account and see if trading is for you. I get that some people need to have some skin in the game to make it matter, even if it's just $10.

As far as platform, by and large the only publicly available places to trade are through the exchanges themselves. You may find that the exchange that is easiest to send 10 USD to might not be the same one you want to trade on.

Disregard trading and investing for now temporarily. You're better of putting that $10 elsewhere to be honest. If I were you, I'd use that $10 to buy a good book that could educate me on something good and relevant, like probably knowledge on business/investing/programming or whatever you have interest in.

Also, investing doesn't work that way. If you want to invest, go do you research and go decide for yourself. If you want to be a decent investor, don't ask random people on the internet to do your homework for you.

If you invest in coin it will never make good profit because you have only 10$ for starting investment so it is hard to earn more profit. As other's have pointed out, $10 is a bit small as a investment. Well at least in my case I started around $100 and did try to grow my portfolio.

As what we have preaching here, big investment = big opportunity, so just remember that. Anyways, it will be good if you would invest on altcoin and just try to get a feel of how the market works. But don't expect a good returns though.

Big investment also means big risk. $10 or maybe anything under $100 is not suitable for trading or the so-called altcoin investment.

I agree with mjglqw here, use that money to buy books or other learning resources instead of using it to gamble with tokens in the market.

Small investment is good to start with so that you can learn while your investment grows but $10 is very small for a good coin. Such amount will give you a choice of a shit coin, you rather wait till you can add more money to it.

It's quiet small but not bad for a start. I can't really suggest you a coin to invest and promise to get profit from it but. I think most coin has been pumped lately. so my suggestion will be to find an undervalued coin which has been in a dip for too long. I think there is a high potential for this kind of coin to increase in price.

With $10 the best thing to do is use it on altcoin trading since it has a volatily that you need to give you a potential to  growth your capital.
But the matter is volatily will harm you as well and it getting worse if you are still new or dont have any idea about how the trading works.

Look for altcoins that is less than a dollar, you can used coinmarketcap and search.

But why $10 though? if you are really tight in a budget then much better you not invest at all. Just save enough money at least $50 will be good for starters. Or just try to learn how crypto trading works but going around the forum instead of wasting your $10 because it will surely drain if you don't know what you are doing.

Invest in a coin that are cheap currently, that $10 is still an investment although that is really a small amount.
Think like what a $10 bitcoin value during the early stage, and how much it worth now, but you have to wait longer with your investment to grow.
Look for certain coins or tokens here https://coinmarketcap.com/, there's plenty of cheap coins now since the bull has not fully awaken.

Anyway, good luck, if possible you can increase your investment, that would be better.

It will be very difficult for you to succeed in trading with that little amount of money though there are some tokens that you can get thousands of the units with $10 but I don't think those tokens will appreciate.  For those coins that I think there have done well before and there are not more than $2 dollars now you can buy them: lisk,  stratis,  tron,  ripple and so many of them.
