I would echo what others have said, that the price drop in NEO is mostly a symptom of the overall market trend, which for the last year and a bit has been for prices to fall everywhere. What we are seeing now is the beginnings of a bull run... these often start with BTC rising quickly, after which alts will also rise.
So at the moment we are in the stage where BTC rises fast. In the past the pattern has been that once BTC slows down, people move into alts and alt prices increase too... so I think it is mostly just a matter of time.

I guess neo is following the other altcoin which is down because of bitcoin can jump to the higher price. But soon, neo and the other coin will be increased too, and there is no doubt for this. But the problem is we don't know when neo can increase because of it still a mystery for us to predict the time. The only chance we can do now is getting prepared to sell at a high price and don't forget to set the alarm before the price increases.

It is the worst time for altcoins now.
There is one recommendation for all altcoin holders: HODL! Soon you will see also growth of these coins. We only need to see that Bitcoin confirm the upcoming bull market.
It's really not. Worst time is on the top if you are buying it. Best time to buy is on the bottom. And that's now imho. |

I was big time believer of NEO after ethereum i thought NEO will be the platform will largely used for smart contract creation . As like some of the projects use NEO platform like Ontology became huge hit even though Neo is under rated or still trading under 10$ what is the reason behind this.
everything needs time so we need to wait for sometime to achieve the best value for the future otherwise we cannot get the successful life still it getting better so waiting will only give the success for you. |

That is the best case scenario but i dont see any signs yet that it will rise to the rates it had last year. With btc taking its ride it could get some up steam on the short term at most. |

I think the NEO only needs time to improve the situation after a long bearish period. if the NEO is a good coin, then the NEO will be able to reach $ 160 again this year. I thought. bullish comes very fast. and it looks like. the development of the NEO is very slow after bearish.

NEO is getting used lesser and lesser every day.
After China ban crypto, NEO got crippled, and every day it is going worse.
I've never thought of this downtrend has its cause because of China's issues regarding crypto. It is a market design, in fact, for how many times that China banned crypto but still, prices go up and down. NEO has a good market history and this fall will be over shortly. It sure can go up and down but if you see the long trend after China issue started, NEO is going down. Not continuously but the way it goes is down. Neo needs projects on its blockchain but nearly none of them are prefering them. |

It's not only maybe but that's the fact that already happened, not only for bitcoin but some neo holders are sticking their NEO portfolios to another coin. this is a usual thing when there was a bullish market and NEO didn't get a huge impact. people are starting to speculate another coin and leaving NEO for a while or they will never came back again if there was no such a potential growth in NEO platform. that's the rule of crypto when there was no a coin that can't even create a good progress. Traders and investors are watching it anytime. |

I have the same opinion as many here. This is a matter of time. And soon, along with the growth of other altcoins, NEO will grow. So far, only BTC is growing significantly. NEO is a promising token

We already have a way higher starting point for the next run. IMHO fundament changed very much. There are a lot of new competitors with smart contracts and isn't the best one IMHO. They need to increase activity as I think or they can lose this game with all their holders. |

There's still people who will buy and hold this coin even the value drops, for those who really believes and support this project buying while the price is dropping will serve as a good starting point to accumulate more, investors who have a wide knowledge about this project will keep this coin and hold, the chance of being hyped after bitcoins pumped will be the guide to keep waiting. |

Sorry but without China around?NEO will die since this is what they called a Chinese ethereum ..this is sad but I think the true face of those cryptocurrency Neo that went as high as 196 dollars in January 2018, is now below $15 to be precisely it is currently at $12.11 and that is really very bad for those that buying then and are still holding. Neo is one of the most dumping coins last year ending and that is seriously affecting it growth.
That’s really a serious word,most dumping coin of 2018 end year,I used to hold this great coin before until the price starts to dump and dump and leave me no choice but to sell and turn to another set of currency |

Most of these old coins that looked promising like NEO, ADA and the rest are really losing it and I am beginning to think their time has expired already, maybe they have finally given up to newer projects that came with a solution better than theirs, and moreover, I have told people severally that the problem of some of these coins are still themselves. These coins are too much in the market and the competition that exist amongst them is so strong and takes only the very best of them to survive, within the next 1 to 2 years, I see over 500 old projects dyeing off the market completely as they no longer have new innovations. |
