Beat Bangladesh by 311 runs after scoring 350
Beat Bangladesh by 316 runs after scoring 400
Beat Bangladesh by 321 runs after scoring 450
If Bangladesh opt to bat first on Friday, Pakistan stand eliminated even before a ball is bowled.

Now fight is in between Aussie and India for No 1 spot.

As of now Oz and India leading the table with 14 and 13 points respectively and they both have 1 match to go against the SA and Srilanka.

Possible scenario.

Oz will face kiwis in Manchester and India vs England is in the same ground (Birmingham) where England already beat India convincingly in the last encounter.

Alternative scenario

If South Africa wins against Australia in last playoff game, then its different ball game.

Yes, we are changing with changing conditions.   At the start of match i was hoping for the England loss  so that there is no run rate headache when we play the match with Bangladesh. But since England made a brilliant start and now with NZ two wickets down, i am now looking for a England win with a big margin, maybe by 100 runs.

Even if NZ lose to ENG with a big margin, I doubt PAK will be able to qualify for the semi because-
1. It will not be easy to beat Bangladesh  
2. NZ nrr is +0.57 & PAK nrr is -0.79, a difference of 1.22 almost, and the difference after this match will not be less than 0.50, I guess although I'm not sure how this is calculated, in the end, NZ nrr will be high.

Can anyone who is genius to calculate how much NZ will end up with run rate if they lost with 100 runs ?

If pakistan bat first, they have to win over 300 runs and that is almost impossible to win against Bangladesh.

PAK Won the last three matches and better in confidence and unable to qualify.

SF1: Australia vs New Zealand
SF2: England vs India

I don't think that Pakistan is capable of beating Bangladesh by 300+ runs. On the other hand, there is a real possibility that Bangladesh will pull off an upset.

I do not think Indian matches are fixed but there is a lobby (The big three) who have decided that who will win the WC.

Kiwis need to win just two more matches to lift the trophy. First they need to defeat Australia during their trans-Tasman duel and then they need to beat either India or England in the finals. But considering their pathetic form during the last 2-3 matches, I would say that any chance for that happening is really low. A more realistic possibility would be England winning the world cup for the first time.

Kiwi isn't going to win, at least that's what have been proved till the beginning of their world cup journey. In this world cup, their batting performance is more than poor. Only Williamson alone was struggling most of the matches. So, they aren't going to final unless a miracle happen.

New Zealand started the world cup with a crushing 10 wicket victory over Sri Lanka. I think I was the only one in the pool who predicted it correctly. During the second match, they struggled against Bangladesh but managed to beat them. And then they were able to beat Afghanistan in a decisive manner. But their performance during the last 2-3 matches have been poor. Had a very close match against West Indies, followed by a defeat against Pakistan. And then crushing defeats against Australia and England.

Today we have Afghanistan vs West Indies and i am thinking about a comfortable win for West Indies but will be glad if Afghanistan can defeat them as they played good cricket but no wins so far.

But WI is lot better than AFG but they need to play to the condition then only they can win matches,we saw that they were playing ODI matches like T20 matches which caused them to lose many matches,hooefully they learned something and will play better this time.
