That is what i was talking about that India (or any country)  should play and win and not reach the finals on basis of run rates or their position on the group. It should not happen on your wish on NOT playing and progressing.

Dhoni and Jadeja were the glue in India's inning. I love to bash Dhoni, but tbh Dhoni did precisely what was needed in a given situation "Anchor the inning," and he did brilliantly. Unfortunately for him and India, he got run out.

All credit to Kiwis, they bowled like a champion and demolished the Indian top and middle order. If it was not for Dhoni and especially Jadeja, India was about to see humiliating lost. In the end, it was a good game.

This statement proves how stupid people like you can be. MSD did what he was expected to do just like always and took the game deep from a horrible position. Jadeja got the confidence to hit thanks to Dhoni being on the other end.

No one needs to fight here but we need to understand some facts about Indian team.

1- Rohit Sharma scored  5 centuries in this world cup which means that Indian middle order never faced any pressure. This is the first time Sharma was unable to provide the start and the batting collapsed.  You cannot win the WC with a single Batsmen.

2- Virat showed he is a defensive captain as he made Dhoni come at no. 6. If Dhoni could have come at 4, he could have played himself and also helped other players around him

3- Are we still in the era where the subcontinent teams (Ind/Pak) are unable to play where the bowl is moving and we only are champions of the flat pitches.

Jadeja could not do much if Dhoni was not holding the wickets from one side it's true and the other truth is that Dhoni could also relax and try to play comfortably except waiting for the final end overs (last one or two overs) when the pressure already built up to top of the mountain.

No one remember a losing team not matter what you have done in the ground.
