Another great day to see the price finally breaking those mental barrier as if they are nothing. Last time we witnessed is during the last great bull run in 2017. But as I was surprised by the sudden spike in the last 24 hours, pushing market cap above $200 billion. I guess we are really out of the bear's claw for now and the time to buy cheap coins are gone.  . Next stop would be obviously $7k so let's hope we can carry this rally next week. |

Yeah, it's great that this point was reached already, but now I really hope Bitcoin will slow down and stabilise. It's moving forward too fast, and when it happens the market gets very vulnerable and can dive into another long bearish period. We don't need newbies pushing the price up and then betraying the coin at the first signs of risks. While it's nice to see how the savings are growing in price so fast, I would honestly prefer slower development of events now. |

I'm not shocked to see a strong rebound for Bitcoin and also a Bitcoin dominance of 60%. 2018 was a very long bear phase which has not even seen a strong rebound unlike the previous bear market of 2014 - 2015. It was bound to happen and I just call this a return to the mean.

It is definitely a major boost for the bulls, but still we need to remember that a lot of work needs to be done. At current levels, Bitcoin is down 65% from the peak pricing reached in 2017, and many of the alts (such as ADA, BCH and NEM) are more than 90% down. The institutional and mainstream investors will show interest only if we can reach the price levels of 2017.

I hope it doesn't stop at 200B. everyone would want this, a growth that provides profit for everyone. This is according to my prediction that the marketcap just keeps increasing, because bitcoin still has a chance to rise. so look and the market's attention will be all green. |

Total marketcap is now reached $208 billion, but this is only number which does not show the real value of cryptocurrency. From total MC, bitcoin is have over $120 billion, Ethereum $20+ billion and XRP $13+ billion, so all other altcoins together share some $50 billion.
Total market cap is calculated by price of coin + circulating supply, and we all should know that probably millions of BTC are lost (losted private keys), so if we consider that fact, total MC is much smaller.

Market cap is just the total value of all coins mined and nothing else. It does not hold a huge significance on our stride and can easily be changed once the price changed. For some, it signifies strength and dominance over the market, but personally I find it as an aimless metric something that can easily be manipulated at will. Nevertheless, it can still tell us something about growth and the current state of bitcoin, and reaching $200B is something that most people back then believed would take a long time to break once again.

It's either new money is flowing in the market, or some investors are selling their altcoins and with to bitcoin. I'm sure everyone right now is very happy to see the price just exploded in the last 24 hours breaking barriers of $6400-$6500 and billion cap is increasing. Indicative that we are really in the bullish cycle.
I have seen on a crypto news site that it was actually the BCH that is moving around and is the main reason why the bitcoin market is also moving upwards. What we actually needs right now is enough support so that the lowest price will atleast be stable and would not go down to $6500 |
