It was on the way to 10 thousand dollars but it looks like it stopped for now. It could be just taking a breather and then will continue to go up but it could be maybe ran out of fiat to get bitcoin higher in which case it will be much worse for all of us. Lets wait and see on what will happen but I still think that we are at a better place even if we drop.

What I mean is if we drop from here then we will still be above 4200 dollars no matter what, lets say we will drop to 5600 or whatever that is why I still think that no matter which direction bitcoin goes we will be at a better price then just couple months ago (even if it falls). However if it manages to keep going up once again with another rally and break 10 thousand barrier I am sure it will go even further, if it breaks 10 thousand it won't stay at 10 thousand and go above 12 thousand easily.

We never hit $10K a year ago. Look at the charts on Bitstamp and Coinbase, the price hit $9950 or so. Maybe it hit $10000 on the Bitmex futures due to the funding rates or on some other exchange like the Korean exchanges but the spot price never hit $10K back in May 2018.

The momentum was really crazy back in May 2018 and everybody assumed it would hit at least $10K and shortly after head to a new ATH. However it ended up forming a huge bull trap and the ones who wanted to get out at $10K never did and price hasn't reached that level since.

So keep in mind that the $10K barrier won't be a easy one to break through, most likely alot of manipulation in that area.

If BTC holds these support levels and breaks up out, at that point I'm hoping to see a $10k BTC soon. Before that, It's must going to hit around over $8,500 and then continues to shine. I think it will drop before it goes up but definitely going up. Specific time isn't existing in cryptospace.

10k is an important psychological barrier, for a long time bitcoin has been trading at 4 figures but if we reach 10k it will be the first time in a long time we will be back at trading in 5 figures, that will be an important bull signal and I will not be surprised if after reaching it the price went up really fast, however I agree with you that now is a good time to buy bitcoin, my prediction is that we will reach 40k by 2021, some see my prediction as too conservative but if the price goes higher than that you can be sure I will still be holding my coins and obtaining profits thanks to them.

looking at the current situation, I don't think the end of the month will end at $ 10k. yeah, but seeing the current price is enough to make me excited. on the coming day, the potential price of bitcoin to reach the price of $ 10000 is still very large. in fact, at the beginning of June, I feel that prices can reach $ 9,000.

looking at the current situation, I don't think the end of the month will end at $ 10k. yeah, but seeing the current price is enough to make me excited. on the coming day, the potential price of bitcoin to reach the price of $ 10000 is still very large. in fact, at the beginning of June, I feel that prices can reach $ 9,000.

And we saw one of those negative surprises yesterday when the price went down dramatically in just one hour and the price is still going down, it seems to me that some people are cashing out, which is understandable given the circumstances, but it seems the bears finally gathered enough strength to stop the rise in the price of bitcoin and possibly to make it to go down, however even if this is the end of the current movement I cannot complain since I got significant profits out of it.

We might need to wait a bit longer seemingly. I really thought that we will end May having btc back to $10k or even in the first week of June but I was just really excited. I did not think about those impatient people who are eager to sell their positions and are not planning for a long term for the next year at least.
