Until now media is full of ignorant people that keep insisting, that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, this is one of the things that hinders Bitcoin adoption, eventually time will come, that people will realize how great this technology is, there will still a lot of scamming going on because there is huge money to be made in cryptocurrency, just be careful and educated.

So someone involved in trading at that level and managed to amass that amount loses to a promise of 18x your input? -_- Obviously 18x your investment will never happen especially in massive amounts like that and it happened over 18 months. Probably was just an early adopter who is now greedy. That was such a lot of money to live a perfect life. He could have even invested it in the bank and lived off the interest. Greediness is always a part of our life and we can't escape from being like that. We can't felt it because we tried to control it kept inside but it for sure, it soon moves out and take control into our mind. No wonder how people go like that cause it seems to be normal today, we need money, right? And being greedy will lead to making money a lot. Yes,the percentage of scammers now was too high like what is happenig to the price of bitcoin because they can easily hire some people to take their scam project and also they use bitcoin for their flowery voice,so be smart for them and do not take it rapidly because you will regret if you are going to be eagerly for them.

BITCOIN RISING, SCAMS RISING  BTC RISING WILL GIVE SCAMS GOOD OPPURTUNITY OF RISING BECAUSE THEY WILL  BE MAKING MORE MONEY.

As long as we can stay away from the suspicious links or programs in out there, we don't have to afraid from the scam. We could continue to make money from what we did before, but we still are careful to always double check the links that we want to visit. The scamming will be there and searching for the people who cannot protect themselves so they can steal their money and run away.

I've seen many people falling over stupid ponzi scheme and many convincing "too good to be true" stuff all over again and that kinda makes me pissed to be honest.
There's also many people taking advantage of the refferal link they think following that program will bring them profits but no, that program will bring calamity for many people financial and economic circumstances.

I would say that the incidence of scam and fraud has reduced over the years. If you check the older threads, then you will get an idea. I browsed through the posts from 2013 and 2014, and back then scams were very frequent. I guess that the users have become more cautious and careful by now and this is preventing most of the attempted scams.

This is expected and will be experienced by many as these hackers and cheats will only become wiser and even more sophisticated but that does not mean you will fall victim, especially if you have taken your security measures accurately

It seems that this can not be separated from this, where there is an increase in the value of bitcoin so many are tempted to do things that are not commendable by cheating. it seems that fraud can also occur if crypto is not good. carefulness is needed in stepping and not always tempted by seduction that seems to be profitable.

many people use it to make a profit without thinking about the loss of others. should the person be able to choose and analyze what they can do about bitcoin whether it is true or not. so fraud in the name of bitcoin will not occur and spread widely

I gave all the details in the thread for everyone here to see and learn from my mistakes and never trust anybody without an escrow even if you had more than 100 deals with them as in today's world, anyone can scam due to various reasons.

In my opinion, in any situation bitcoin is increasing or there is no increase in scamer has been around for a long time.
and if bitcoin increases very high, I think more and more scams will try in any way to be able to have bitcoin in a criminal way or by any means without thinking of people who have been harmed because what he has in mind is that bitcoin will make lots of money and will make it rich.

Lack of legalization or the lack of clarity in the legal status is the main reason why there are so many scams with the cryptocurrencies. The criminals know that even if they con someone, there is a low chance of the victim going to the cops and complaining about the incident (especially in countries such as India and China, where the legal status is unclear).

I agree because I notice a much more quiet events of scams in the last year up to the present compared to 2017. Scams like thebillioncoin, one coin that existed on facebook. There are also hyips that got me attracted and lost my money. Only left by now are those telegram scammers pretending to be part of any team. I don't see much of them nowadays but like you said OP, I'm certain that they are going to change their scam strategy.

Expect the unexpected! Bitcoin is becoming popular all over the world. And because of that, many scammers are taking it advantage in order to fool people. I believe that if these scammers will be prevented to penetrate in this industry, scamming will be lessen. At the same, we will expect a large number of investors who are confident with their investment.
