There's so much money on boxing so he will not retire easily, well he already have a good life now and even he lose the fight for sure he can live for good as a senator. This fight should be a good fight so if ever he will retire, at least he won on his last fight. Let's not wish for him to retire right now, he will be missed for sure.

If he continues to fight weak opponents such as Thurman, then he may not be able to get significant revenue. Perhaps that was why he was so desperate to have another go at Floyd Mayweather in Vegas. But unfortunately for him, Floyd was not interested and had other plans (can't blame Floyd, he had better options to choose from). This fight may bring him a fraction of the revenue that he received from his fight against Floyd. If that is the case, then he may have another two or three fights at the most, before he concentrates on politics full-time.

Good news so far for Pacman fans out there, we can win big if we bet on him, at least for now Smiley. Oddsmaker have put Manny the slight underdog for now but we expect changes of this as the fight came close.

I just hope Manny would lose so he can finally decide to retire for good and focus on something else.

You know, like being a senator since his fantards keep voting him back into office. Or I dunno, focus on being a pseudo-pastor. Just get out of boxing already.

Some people don't know why Manny Pacquiao still fight in the ring because he wants a rematch from Floyd Mayweather that's why Manny still on boxing. I'm glad Pacquaio still not retired yet I would like to pay to watch some young blood to be whooped by him.

It's all about money, they'll use to box because of a huge offer and getting be proud of their people.
Manny is old enough for this fight and I might see 40/60 in favor of Keith. But we know already how boxing veterans do fight inside the ring, Manny will surely use his experience during that time. Excited to see our boxing hero fighting again.

I doubt it, Manny won his last two fight by complete domination, so I think he will be the one who is the heavy favorites here.
If we can see the betting line we can confirm, as of now, no lines yet but I believe he will be the favorites.

Age is just a number! And Manny Pacquiao is one of that adage's living proof. Manny already had fights with younger boxers before but, hello? Did he back out? Heck no! He still shows that he is able to fight fair and square and with much strength. And on this fight, Keith may be young but boxing is not about age. It's abour your ability to hit and punch very well. And I think Manny still have that capabilities. My bet is, obviously, on Manny. Filipino pride!

Which most of the fans knew, he's not going to let things be regrets, he will fight to the end and he will show his strength and his skills, Manny is always ready to fight and bring pride to the country, will be backing you up when the odds already open.

So true, Pacman truly embodies that adage. His last two fights was still good, above some of the current welterweights that's why this is another step for him to face a young and very game opponent in Keith Thurman. He always bring that Filipino pride when he fights, that's why he is so likeable, not just by Filipinos, but even most of the boxing community around the world.

I just hope Manny would lose so he can finally decide to retire for good and focus on something else.

You know, like being a senator since his fantards keep voting him back into office. Or I dunno, focus on being a pseudo-pastor. Just get out of boxing already.
Lol, if he would lose this fight with Thurman, a rematch is very eminent and this might lead to a trilogy  Smiley, unfinished business they will say. As i have posted earlier maybe this is one of the last two fights left in him and the big one might be a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. He need the money for his political plan in the future that is why he still fight, passion for boxing is a lame excuse Grin.

Dear Lord, please nothing like the Marquez fights!

And I don't think the Mayweather fight is happening unless Floyd can be certain he will win again. The guy's a businessman.

There's so much money on boxing so he will not retire easily, well he already have a good life now and even he lose the fight for sure he can live for good as a senator. This fight should be a good fight so if ever he will retire, at least he won on his last fight. Let's not wish for him to retire right now, he will be missed for sure.

If that is the case, then he may have another two or three fights at the most, before he concentrates on politics full-time.

The guys he have been fighting recently ain't even familiar. Even people in the Philippines who support him just out of "Pinoy Pride" have no idea who these boxers are.

He earns $55 Million USD during his mayweather fight so he do will his best to get another big fight and big pay day before he retire. This match up between thurman is nothing but just a warm up and to earn few more millions while waiting for mayweather fight rematch.

I am still on the ropes about the match. Although I do like Pac a lot (hell who doesn't? The dude proved it in the ring time and time again) I still think that he should retire after his contract. He is getting up in age. Time to give the new bloods a chance. Thurman is a good boxer. I do hope that after this bout, Pac retires.

Actually laugh on this one. This is somehow a true thing about Pacquiao and Marquez fights but it wont happen into this Thurman thing but rather it would be on Floyd.
I dont know why people do still keep on speculating on possible match up with mayweather.Just move on and just wait for that time if it do happen but for now
Thurman would be the opponent and basing on post above that Pacquiao is a slight underdog on this one which is quite surprising.

Good news so far for Pacman fans out there, we can win big if we bet on him, at least for now Smiley. Oddsmaker have put Manny the slight underdog for now but we expect changes of this as the fight came close.

source: https://sports.mb.com.ph/2019/05/17/pacquiao-slight-underdog-vs-thurman/

Definitely it will change as the fight get's closer. But I'm surprised by the odd makers favoring Thurman in this fight. Perhaps the young and the power of Keith was one of the factors in saying that Thurman will beat Manny Pacquiao. But for us, we all know that Manny will prove his fans and his critics why he is still fighting at this age. If the odds are good, I might throw some money on the legendary boxer, just to have some fun. Grin

But just like what Thurman says ,this fight will likely the Oscar delajoya and Manny Pacquiao when Manny overruns the older Delajoya that time

Yeah maybe Pacquiao is in condition and still in good shape but he’s not that fast and strong like when he was in his 20-30’s ,now that he is in 40’s things have change a lot now and this is must be accept by all of us Manny’s fans worldwide

In Manny last 3 fights, All those are 3 young boxers but they all failed to dominate the people's champ. The only thing is missing for Manny was his Knock out power since he fight's with caution right now unlike his younger days where he fights to the death and chasing his enemies to the end of the ring. But now its different since one mistake could end his life instantly.

On all his fight after Mayweather Thurman will be Manny's biggest test, he is both a champion and undefeated and with a knock out power, but I still believe Manny can pull this one, he has matured and very cautious I predict a unanimous decision for Manny Pacquiao, but it will be fantastic if Manny can knock him out.

Unlike you guys may think there is literally almost no money in boxing, it is only these big names that are making this much money, first of all there are like 50 people who make decent money in all over boxing all over the world compared to over a million boxers, almost all of them work and box at the same time as well so they use boxing as their hobby.

Even Wilder who is now 41-0 and doing amazing made only 9.5 compared to Pacman who LOST and got 55 million in Mayweather fight. Like even Daniel Roman made about 250 thousand dollars for one of his championship fights. These are the top notch people in boxing, and they have like 1 or 2 fights a year usually, think of all those hundreds of thousands of people that make 50 bucks per fight and you will see why its not a big winner.

Pacman knows there is no way he will make any money resembling this amount ever again, this is TOO MUCH money to left on the table, if he gets paid for a fight he should fight when he is 50+ years old too, why stop when you can make so much money. The day he stops fighting is the day he longer earns any money.

Manny Pacquiao have gained the trust of people from different countries because of his amazing strategies and even skills in boxing. And with his incoming fight with Thurman, this is really a big test for him if he can still beat a young boxer who is also known as an amazing boxer in his own country. I think this one is something worth it to be watched.
