Okay, this is probably the wrong place to ask but:
Are there any guides setting up a miner for betarigs or miningrigrentals? I've tried both sites and can't find any good info. I follow the info on the sites and it doesn't work. Other sites like Wafflepool work just fine but I want to mine where the profits are reported higher (obviously).
There isn't really much difference between setting up a regular pool or Beta/MRR. MRR is easier I think, because they show your activity even when your rig is not rented out, so you might want to start there. Register on the site, create a rig, set up backup pools in rig details (where your rig will mine while not rented out), it will display a URL and a worker name on the rig details page - use that info in your miner configuration. If you have any questions or problems along the way let me know what exactly seems to be wrong and I'll try to help. |

what is best pool you mining with I can't say whether these are "best" or not, but here is what I currently use: For Scrypt - mostly CleverMining and WestHash. For SHA256 - mostly BTCGuild and some rentals. For other algos - mostly BetaRigs, sometimes MiningRigRentals. |
