CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume

This is awesome and it was needed badly to prevent fakers. I always like Coingecko than the manipulated Coinmarketcap! This trust score will help us to know which exchange is really big and which is shit. We all know most of the exchange has fake volume, even many big reputed exchanges have a huge number of the fake volume. We should stop supporting this exchange when we already have a better option. I did not know about this feature before today, thanks to coingecko to bring a good solution in the crypto market.

Well, that's very good news. I like Coingecko and I use This service very often. Often can find altcoins that are not on Coinmarketcap and find out where they are traded. And now and watch real volumes.

Yes, coingecko has more features than Coinmarketcap. Coingecko is not just a price showing tool, they list all the potential ICO on the board. This new Trust Score feature will bring more users to Coingecko and I hope very soon this platform will become another big crypto influencer website! To me, Coingecko a kittle bit underrated, they deserve more popularity!

Hello everyone! CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume. From today onwards, we won't be sorting exchanges by reported volume but will take into account web traffic and orderbook data. 

The fake volume is a curse and we need to get rid of that to have some transparency and a fair evaluation of things for the people who invest money. Most or all of these exchanges are not regulated and there is a plenty of competition in the exchange market and all the exchanges are trying to get an upper edge to attract more customers and with no regulatory board overlooking all these, they could fake these volumes but coingecko has taken a good initiative and hopefully they will not take money and fake the volume themselves as i am sure these exchanges will be ready to pay huge amounts to show these fake volumes too .

Good news to people who are yawning to see exchange with real volumes and bad news to exchange who are involved in wash trading and exaggerated trading volumes to be at the top level rank in cmc, this idea is nothing but brilliant, with this method of knowing the accuracy of tradings in exchanges now we can actually know which exchange deserves to be in those top spot and who doesn't, good job coingecko for this.
