Taking note of tokens with high volume exchange and trade, most especially on the top 100 CMC, have the opportunity of getting a good price back when altcoin surges and probably still exist. Its obvious most new investment are into bitcoin because it is where institutions are putting fund. Asides bitcoin and BNB, other altcoins still maintain a dump of over 80% from previous dump.

Such dumps will end sooner or later, everyone understands this. The life of the market will not stop, where there was a fall, there will be growth. As we have seen a market correction that lasts 2 years. Now this correction has come to an end and we see the beginning of a new growth.

Don't sell your token in cryptocurrency of any panic, you don't know when pump will start. I hold my token when dump start, I sell it if I have my profits or you can sell some token separately during price decreasing.

What if the pump never happens? For tokens with small market caps, the exchange rates are heavily manipulated. In case the price is going down continuously for three or four months, then in my opinion it is always better to sell it for ETH or BTC. If the prices continue to slide, than at some point it will get delisted from the exchanges as well.

Selling or not depends on your decision. I am currently investing in a token but I have lost more than 80% of the asset value but I still believe that its price will definitely increase again because their strategy is a long-term strategy.
The important thing is how you understand the project and how long you will be determined to hold it.

You're right about the major problem is making an investment into a project base on hype but there are alot of investors who invest into new project not because of the hype and the project is not doing well in the market. What I'm trying to tell you is that the altcoin market far more than the level of concepts and technologies involve in a project and if I'm not right BSV won't have claim the position of some good altcoin on capital market.

If you really don't know anything about technical analysis, or don't know where is the top and bottom. The best thing is not to sell anything that is discounting, just hold it and wait for the BTC to increase again. Everything will be good.

In some case the best thing to do is to sell at lost price because the previous market blood bath and correction have drastically change the level of surge in price of alot crypto and id you check the capital market top 100 alot of coins/tokens have claim the spot which belong to some project before.
In your situation what you have to do is to check the level of the token team planned and community/miners support before selling.

i don't hold any of them in first place to want to decide what to do when they get dumped! we all know that sooner or later all the altcoins out there are going to get dumped so the only question is when to get in and how long to stay in.
the answer depends on the market itself and the potential of the ongoing pumps that the specific token has. then as soon as that pump ended you must make your exit instead of waiting around.

Holding a coin is really for the strong in mind. I just wonder how one will see a coin dumping and wouldn't want to sell and take out capital at least. I guess that's for a longterm hold.. Waiting for the price to rise back to expected price is just a risk

If the project is good it is better to wait and keep its coins. If it works and develops, its cryptocurrency will go up anyway. Now it is very important because many people are experiencing that bitcoin is growing and small altcoins are falling. Declining price conditions are very reasonable because the crypto market is very difficult to predict. That way if the price of my coin decreases the coin I will keep for a few days. But if in a few days Jarga coin does not return. My coin is forced to sell at a low price. And with the sale of the coin, I switched to the coin that would rise.

You might not be able to tell the time that the coin you have will give you the needed profit, but i think you should have a projection of the price you want to sell, irrespective of what people are saying about it. Go to the exchange and set your sell order and if is on the other hand, set the buy order you want to settle for. Forget about it and move on with other things. You can just check at intervals to see what is happening to it. This will help you not to panic sell.

In this case, when the token was declining their value I still going to hold the tokens than selling it a lower rates. But upon holding, as time goes by we must also do a good research whether when the tokens got back into it's normal increasing rates. So that we can do our next plan whether simply selling it or just keep on holding tokens and wait until its price going to be rising up.And the most important thing is if you have a good altcoins it will go rise like Dencoin that you can buy in the ICO now thats ongoing.

I think that initially the prices for Bitcoin and Ethereum will rise further, and the prices for the rest of the cryptocurrency will be still at the old level.  But if Bitcoin and ethereum reach certain results, then users of cryptocurrency will more actively buy other coins for ethereum and Bitcoin, which will lead to higher prices for other cryptocurrencies.
