For me its an additional feature which is not really necessary but i like it. it's like an additional competition besides the competition against the house to make some money.

Maybe if it is not really good, there are no one that use it but in fact some people use VIP membership in some gambling site. It means it is good for them. But for me i not really  taking gambling very seriously, so VIP or not is no matter for me.

Those things are what casinos are using to draw more customers to themselves, and some addicted gamblers will be wasting their money just because they want to be VIPs. You need to first understand why the Gambling sites gives VIP ranks to certain players ? They give those rank to player who are more active and wager more on the site. The  house does not want that those player leave their site and hence they award them different offers in terms of ranks etc.

From gambler point of view, these ranks are always good to have and he can even show to his family friends, on how much he is reconized  for playing on the site.
