I just wanted to add up this tutorial since this can be a solution sa mga issue/cases na nangyayari sa ating local. Ako mismo ay minsan hirap na hirap na mag-quote ng mga importanteng detalye from locked topics. I'm still here to provide solutions para naman maging maayos at magkaroon pa ng dagdag kaalaman dahil isa rin ito sa mga codes na dapat mong malaman regarding sa forum. In short, this is a forum-related topic that can be used for proper discussions and other additional statements. Simple thread lang 'to.


Ano ba ang UNIX timestamp?

Ito yung total seconds simula nung January 1, 1970 at UTC time. Kung mapapansin niyo UTC time din ang gamit dito sa forum which is late ng 8 hours sa oras natin dito sa Pilipinas.

Nakakapagtaka ba kung paano gawing code yung mismong date? Sa una medyo nahirapan ako kasi akala literal na year/month/day/minutes lang ang nilalagay pero 2018 na and wala akong makitang 2018 or yung mismong date noon so nakakalito talaga siya.

So may ginagamit tayong site about UNIX Timestamp: https://www.unixtimestamp.com/
Ayan na yung link, so ang gagawin mo nalang is input mo yung mismong date kung kelan niya na-post yung content/reply.

Example

so paano ko gagawan ng timestamp ang oras ngayon? September 3, 2018 ngayon, 10:30PM na sa atin (Pilipinas) and 2:30 PM naman kapag UTC time. (Ito yung ginamit ko since ito yung oras nung ginagawa ko 'tong content)

So ayan, pag-convert meron ka ng UNIX TIMESTAP na 1535941800, madali lang diba?  


Paano mag quote ng mga locked topics?

Lately ko lang 'to natutunan and syempre gusto ko na din i-share sa inyo dahil andami ng locked topics sa local natin. Ito yung code niya for quoting a locked topic.

Step 1:

ito yung part na madalas mong makita kapag na-click mo ang "title" ng gusto mong i-quote or diyan mismo magdidirect sa post/reply niya kapag binuksan mo.

Step 2:

Copy mo lang yung topic url

Step 1: Lahat ng tinuro ko sa paggamit ng UNIX TIMESTAMP, ilalagay mo lang converted na oras dun sa date=(converted time)

Simple lang naman mag-quote ng locked topics and sana may natulungan ulit ako sa simpleng pamamaraan na ganito. Sana tinatandaan niyo din yung mga important contents na pwede niyong magamit during discussion kaya kapag nasa locked topic na yung gusto mong i-quote, balikan mo lang 'tong thread na 'to and this will help you a lot.

May medyo komplikadong paraan nito sa mga ayaw gumamit unix timestamp converter, at sinubukan ko naring i-post dito.

In the thread you want to reply in, click on "quote" on any reply.

In a new tab, find the post you want to quote, and click on its title to reload the page to that specific post. Then copy the message number (last 8 digits) from the URL.

Go back to the original tab, and paste over the 8 digits after "quote=" with your new 8 digits. Press enter.

Here is the illustration with pictures...

Step 1
- Find the locked post which you want to quote
- Click the title

Step 2:
- You will see the message id in URL  Copy id




Step 3
- Go to the topic where you wan to quote
- Click "Quote" (any post in the topic)
- If Quick Reply is enabled then Right Click "Quote" and open in New Tab



Step 4
- You  should see the URL with quote=xxxxxx
- Replace this id with id you copied in Step 2



Final Step:
- ta-da  your quote is ready
- You can reply it here or copy paste any where you want.

Thanks for adding up some information kabayan! at maraming salamat din. Yan din yun una kong nakita, katulad nga ng sabi mo, medyo complicated nga 'yan kung ang nais mo lang naman is mag-quote pero kung ang hangarin mo naman ay malaman ang bawat numero sa url, then it'll fit in you.

It's a different method from what finaleshot2016 have said in the OP and I hope it becomes additional information for those who were seeking for tutorials like this. But either way, they're just the same I guess as they can both quote a locked topic. Sobrang useful talaga nito, yung mga may pake talaga sa forum at gustong magkaroon ng magandang discussion, for sure laging magagamit 'to. Pero yung mga typical bounty hunters, walang pake sa mga ganitong klase ng threads. Siguro mas may pake sila sa mga threads na about sa bounties like "sinong pwedeng salihan ng campaign?" which is yung ganon' topic dapat ang ma-locked.

Though not necessary for me to use this always because I "archive and select there" those messages from locked topics, I've been curious about this too just recently, but I almost forgot to search for it. Thanks for sharing it here in our Board!

That's the problem when clicking the merit button because it doubles when you click it twice when you're only in the same directory. Btw, Thanks!

Yeah, sometimes if you're always archiving quality threads, then it's good for you but there are many people that discover the threads late so this improvised function will help them to quote locked topics. Thanks for your suggestion!

Pero thanks if ever man na na-unlocked ito or hindi ko lang napansin na hindi siya kasama doon sa mga locked topics ko. Itong topic ko is one of the useful thread dahil ginagamit ko pa rin 'to sa pag quote ng mga locked topics.

Many months have been passed. I think possible pa rin itong i-bump right?
