As far as I know the price has been breach already, I remember seeing the price hits as high as $8200. So far it is still holding so for now I would say that we won't go down to the $4000 levels, at least with how much the trading volume is. Alt's has already risen, so maybe the new set of investors are also moving to alts, making it hard for Bitcoin to go above $8000. But this is just normal though, we still have a long way to go this 2019, we could end up at 5 digits at the end of the year so just be patience.

Yes, of course. Bitcoin can go to above $8k, and it will reach the very highest price in the future. Meantime, we need to focus on earning more bitcoin in many ways and don't stop if we are not saving much bitcoin. I don't think that the price can go down to $4k, but that is possible to happen because we don't know what will happen later.

Its all estimated the even if you use those indicators, it doesn't really much appear like exact. The $8k is somewhat like a sell wall but it only needs more bids for a breakout to happen. Often times whales are on it and if price stays too long on $8k, it will usually end up being dumped so you can assume that there will be dips after this.

Even if we are finding a resistance in 8k it is a positive sign that I can see that investors have started to buy altcoins so the money that are invested in the market stays in there, and they do not cash out.
If we continue to move around 8k and stay near this price, then it will be about time to break the resistance and soar in higher levels.

As at yesterday morning bitcoin went as high as $8390 when I check my wallet and I think it is currently more of the uptrend than downtrend.  I expect a very serious explosion after this corrections that is happening now as it is still strong above $8000.

I don't really understand your sentiment in regards to BTC potentially dipping down to $4k.

The market sentiment has shifted to the bullish side of the spectrum, and though it is likely that a temporary dip will come sooner or later after this rally, there is no reason to assume that the previous bottom will be retested even if the $8k resistance proves to be too much, if you simply look at the change in expectations of investors from the bear market to now.

Personally, I believe that $8k will be established as support as a matter of time. We've been trading above that level for some time now and given the fear of missing out, it shouldn't be resistance for too long. The general trajectory for the long term in this current cycle is still bullish and that's all that matters.

It's impossible for Bitcoin to go down to $4000 again, however $5000 is still possible but I don't believe Bitcoin will re-test its support at $5000 area. If Bitcoin keeps on current price, it's very possible for a correction because the demand is not enough yet, might be just a little before it will hit and break more resistances when more demands come.

In April when this uptrend of a thing started, the price moved from $3,300 to $5000 and then it became stable at that time and even dropped back to around $4000 plus, and everyone thought it was going back to a lower price then it started to go back to $5000, and we thought that this month of May that it is going to reach just $6000 but it has passed that $6000 and gotten to $8000.

So what else are you expecting, you should try to have patience and not rush and try to follow up some market analysis, in case something else happens. But what I know is that this is like a short break, before you know what's happening it will start going up again.

From the low bottom it has reached such a level. For this it has taken around ten years of time, what we see is all about the recent days growth from the price around $5000. The price has been moving between $7800-$8100 for a longer time period. This seems to be a milestone that could take the price further to reach $10000 and even higher. Yeah I agree it really breached to that price mate, but there's an ongoing selling activities for those who waited for long time for the price to increase at better price. As I've observed recently, price fluctuates gradually which declined from $8k down to $7k plus. Hopefully long terms traders and new holders will adopt what kind of behavior that digital currency is having. Don't be rush and instead look at the bright side.

Generally, it's way more better to see the price idling at a certain level or experienced again a "crash" after a quick rise. In that way, we can determined if the rise is not all about hype. Don't want to happen again how price increase in 2017 up to new ATH. Price now sits at $7,200+ as of Im typing this and look how hard it goes down. I'd like to see the movement that way rather than a quick jump. Let's those attempts to bring down the price just occur. We need more fuel to make another launch.

You see that in the white arrow was the highest price, and the blue arrow was the lowest price. We already see the price dump too deep but I think not all people saw that moment because I think that is a flash dump that happened in the market.

The screenshot below was taken several hours after the dip, so the highest value for the day has changed. It was $8315, not $8037.
Just because you didn't see the dump happening (probably because you were asleep at that time), doesn't mean it wasn't there.
And yes, now the price has recovered half way and is back to $7000, which is the new support level.
I see things slowly going down, with prolonged stops at $6000 and $5000 until we are back down to $4500.

in binance I just saw it fell to $7000, but the price is at $7050 and it's struggling to stay above $7000. which means that we can see the $ 6000 again at any time and maybe we'll be in the $6000 for a long time. the fact that no one knows the reason why the price went up a lot leaves some people very nervous about the future that the price is taking

Binance was the one which tasted the effects of that dump till $7k only and the other ones maybe less maybe more. But the dump took place at just one exchange - Bitstamp and it was so big it took BTC down to $6.2k

We can’t afford to fail this retest this retest this time, because if we fail to sustain this momentum, we might be heading back to a major crash, which will make dump price of $5800 possible, but if we can continue with the rally, retest $8000 and further break the barrier of $8000, then this might be the last time we will ever see $7k trend till further notice.

Yes, it's just a nudge sort of. Last time I checked the price is hovering just above that $8k, mental barrier. It's good though, at least we have seen another day to re-test this price and hope that we can sustain it, otherwise if will be another failed attempt.

Well, we at least saw how it was able to breach the 8 thousand milestone. We are not at a place where 8 thousand dollars is a "drop" and not an increase which makes me feel amazing. The price needs to drop in order to back to 8 thousand dollars. We were at around 3 thousands and 4 thousands just a few months ago and from November to April we lived between 3-4 thousand dollars, now 8 thousand dollars was seemed like "unable to breach" and we even breached that.

All of this tells me that there is no price bitcoin is too difficult to break, we can break any price and we can reach to 10+ thousand dollars easily, I am not saying we are going to be a million dollars (we will one day in the future for sure) but all of these close numbers is quite possible from now on.

I agree, there's no certainty that it can breaks out and move higher than what we are expecting right away but it's showing its strong grounds after
reaching this value, some downfalls has been felt previously but manage to comes up solid and reach back to 8k$ state.

If more people will adopt this investment currency, sooner or later we will see more movements and the price will rise high again.

I actually entered a short which I got stopped at a few hours ago because it looked like $8000 milestone was getting severe rejections. And looking now it seems that $8000 is most likely going to be very strong support.

I think we might get dragged down by the $8325 or so right shoulder but in the past every head and should pattern didnt work out. So I have a feeling we might touch $9K again and if we break it then $9.5K is in the works. Then the huge psychological barrier at 10K.

Too many people are banking on the H&S pattern. Everybody and their grandmother is expecting it. I too think we are going to grind upwards here and eventually squeeze into another FOMO cycle. After 2+ weeks of sideways, I think we'll at least spike through $10K. The $12K+ area is looking tasty at this point. We just need to invalidate this H&S and then the squeeze begins.

although i agree with this but i still think $10k is going to be very challenging. the current price level is nothing important. we are just passing by with the current side ways and some accumulation going on. the bigger challenge awaits us when price reaches the next psychological barrier which was also previously a rather strong buy support to be broken during the fall in 2018.

I really thought that 8k would be easy to reach and only when hits 10k we would have some difficulty to maintain, but 8k is here to stay 

But I keep my plan, I just bought some Litecoin planning to have some gain in BTC

Not quite sure where the alts are moving now though, they're definitely not all at the same spot from a month ago. As usual, Bitcoin dictates where the rest of crypto goes.

Going to be interesting to see the next few months when more bad news comes for economies everywhere.

Of course, this isn't anywhere a guarantee that we'll move on. For all we know this is just the start of a multi-year "narrow" range between 3k and 10k haha!

Litecoin's been performing very well recently not only against USD but also on the LTC/BTC pair. From what I can see on Bitcoinwisdom.io, the pair peaked at 0.01776 on Binance yesterday with the movement largely starting on the 5th of June from 0.013BTC. Seems like BTC is somewhat slowly following LTC up, though LTC's since declined a bit from the peak at Binance. Looking good for Bitcoin so far as we're right up against $8200 and buying pressure should take us right over and beyond soon. Still bullish for the short term and long term as well.

Litecoin has been leading this rally, as counter-intuitive as it seems. This is the halving pump; rewards are set to decrease in early August. It looks like we'll keep pumping into the halving event, then probably dump, based on history. I imagine Bitcoin will keep getting dragged higher. I think $10K-11K and $12K-13K are the interesting zones to watch for reversal.
