For me, the smartest decision anyone can engage in is that you should know that bitcoin has passed the era of the bubble the way it was in 2017, that was when many people are not that involved in crypto and now that we have so many people, All we see now is price being controled by the so called crypto whales. Look at what is happening to crypto now at the moment. ETH is now less than $180. The same ETH that is above $250 few weeks ago. The best decision anyone can take is to take fiat and buy when the price is down like now, wait for 20-30% and take the profit

Yes, I think that bubble belief was tested in 2018 and Bitcoin didn't burst. It remains till today, proving that the new tech has come to stay. On the other hand, as per investment, I believe those who sell off from time to time on exchanges do so for trading. And to do this one needs the required technical knowledge to meander through the murky waters of crypto trading. In summary, people should take their chances on when they get in and out. Nobody knows the perfect entry except in hindsight.

I think many investors are applying the golden rule you mentioned ''never  buy when  price are going up''. Investing when the price is down is quite okay cos there's every tendency it will skyrocket back. Although it depends on the steady flow of the market

Do you still think that all those golden rules still works, personally I don't think so because sometime if you follow that rule, you will be delayed in making son decisions in making investment at the right time, there are some case where I have waited for bitcoin price to ho down to buy but they I see it climbing up drastically.

This was one of the mistake that I made when bitcoin was around $7000, when it got to their prices, I thought maybe it will drop down to $5000 and that was when it started shooting up without dropping till it got to 10000. So sometime so feel that golden rule is just a way of delaying someone's time. Now that bitcoin is at this price, there are so many people that would be thinking that it will drop again, hut before you wake up tomorrow, you might see it surging high.

I think cryptocurrency these day is still in not condition to buy and hold cause from what i can see for this year the price are still in bad condition to buy. It just my opinion.

I respect your opinion but I don't think that you are right about this.
Though Bitcoin is in the struggle pushing its price to move slow, it doesn't mean that it worth nothing. In fact, the current price isn't bad and it actually much high that the days Bitcoin started. We aren't in the bull run yet to see that Bitcoin prices will be high as we like it to happen.

But to be a payment method, I guess that will be a long time because that will need approval from the government. We know that many governments are not accepting cryptocurrency. The crypto market is affected not only be whales but we do influence it greatly. We cannot dictate what's on the mind of these sellers, holders has different mindset or motivation when they are selling their shares, they are selling to gain their profit because they already reach the amount where they are supposed to sell it according to their plans.
I don't think these sellers are dumping all their shares, it's very foolish to do that, they are selling a small percentage to gain profit from hodling.

It depends on what you want to achieve, because an Investor will always be in the market, a market speculator will enter or exit according to his criteria.

There are many that come out and cut profits just as there are others that come in and lengthen losses, there are many ways to see the market, in my case, I am currently LONG, I think the market has begun its upward trend phase, despite that is going down or lateralizing, for me the Accumulation phase has passed (although a Re-Accumulation stage may arise).

I think it is better to be in the market at the moment taking into account that there may be a good bullish rally or waiting for it, and my vision is medium and long term, so fractal movements are not as important at the moment, as In the scalping trade that would be another kind of analysis.

How long have to wait bitcoin raise up with now end of year but still down with bitcoin price, many moment when end year bitcoin and crypto price have raise up but today still down. That's very common in trading, if prices go up, there are people who want to make a profit by selling bitcoin, but it can't be denied, maybe they have been investing for a long time, so when bitcoin goes up, then they have to do that. so we don't have negative conclusions for that ... !!
