EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 10G-P5-3885-KR is the model. I also have free electricity for at least half a year longer.
I am just considering it, since I want to upgrade old rigs. And I am not sure how the stock situation will change. Maybe in 6 months the cards will still have held their value.

those are good cards I have 3 of them.

If you grab them directly from evga they are 769 plus tax.

so you mark up is about 150 a card.

Will you be able to warranty them?

I saw an article today about 25% Trump Tax on GPUs :-(  I am starting small to get familiar, but hoping to grow big in the next 6 months.  Not excited about the potential surcharges.

Well it could be a 2x edge sword.  It may be better to have high price and scarce gear as long as we can.  I think it could help coin prices stay higher.

Are you holding your ETH or converting it right away to BTC?

Fuck eth I have 2 eth coins locked away in an old wallet that have been stuck since 2016.  I have spent years trying to jailbreak them so I just sell the sell some cash and convert some to btc.

The eth I earn pays bills.

I hodl Doge now down to 750000 of them

I hodl BTC .

What is your issue with getting them out?

Wallet was not updated so when it reaches the hack and correction back in 2016 it freezes.

You don't need an up to date blockchain to be able to send a transaction unlike a bitcoin blockchain on ETH. You go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/send-offline-helper

Put in your ETH address and it will calculate your nonce, gas limit and gas fee. Then you load your old ETH wallet and you unlock the wallet, write a raw ETH transaction, and then you broadcast that transaction at,

I've had this same issue and I didn't want to go thru the hassle of updating.

Keep in mind, that if you had this ETH before the ETC fork, you need to send the ETH to yourself because there can be a replay attack.

I picked up a Gigabyte Vision 3080 at a Microcenter while visiting family. Gonna be adding it on Wed. I really don't want to void the warranty and replace the thermal pads.   

It does match the rig I am putting it in.  Moving a 5700xt and a 5700 out to an open air rig.  I think I could add 2 fans on the bottom that I removed when I added the 5700.  Hoping I don't lose to much in throttling.

Added the Vision into my daily use rig and it's been in around 7 hours now.  I'm getting 90-95m on eth and 84 pool side.  Probably will see if I can squeeze a bit more out of it tomorrow.  I use this for streaming and web surfing while mining so if it stays stable here I'm pretty happy as it's a dam sexy card.  Took a bit as I needed to add a new psu to keep the cards I moved out running in a mining rig.

please tell me why do you orefer viabtc pool, I was mining on slush when they had a website looking like this forum, last two month I still mined with them but my expectations were not met in amount of mined BTC, I was also considering kano but I don't think I like there luck.

Avg. Daily Earnings 0.00007049 ETH/M (≈PPS 166.56%)    that means that blocks are way bigger

BTC
Avg. Daily Earnings 0.00000737 BTC/T (≈PPS 109.18%) this mean blocks are somewhat bigger


LTC
Avg. Daily Earnings 0.02482162 LTC/G (≈PPS 96.25%) fees are very low for ltc so blocks are smaller.  but they do merge mine doge so you end up over 100% of an LTC block

No luck they just pay.

It's better to use Windows 10 because of the support and updates
It's not necessary to change anything on Motherboard bios, you can use default settings

AMD 5600XT have bios mod if you want
40Mhs without Biosmod, only tweaking memory overclock and reducing core voltage
43Mhs with Bios mod, but you'll probably lose warranty

this is really simple to answer.  Win7 is no longer a good option for you to use.

So if you only have the one pc and want to run win 7 on it you will get the low hash.

Do you have a second pc?
