Many people are comparing the recent btc pump to 2013 pump, when it also went like crazy, then pulled back to much higher prices than the bottom, accumulated for a while, and then continued its forward movement towards new heights. That's a likely scenario for 2019-2020, but it will take a longer time as the market is much bigger than 6 years ago. I would not recommend to sell now if you're aiming at the span of 2-5 years.

I do not care about the price at all. I don't give a shit to the BTC price all I care is if BTC has any value. I am interested in the technology and not on its price. and I am sure that not a lot of people are gonna get affected by the little price drop. there are even people who did not have any coins at all.

I believed many people don't have charting skills to analyze price movement of cryptos particularly bitcoin whenever there is a bullish runs definitely a pullback is imminent thus in such a scenario newbies will start panicking sending wrong signals FUDs just as it is played out now bitcoin had retraced from $8900 to $8400 and the price had started pumping again, this is price action and does need any cause for alarm.

The current situation is still quite normal after such a long period of the bear market. So far, Bitcoin has risen very well over the past two months and is not worth waiting for more from it this year. I mean that this growth rate will be the maximum for him this year. Bitcoin price movement  is not stuck on the runny patern, there always be upward trend and down trend. If you only look that the bitcoin price movement always up continously then it's impossible. The price will meet a correction for a while after the price following the trend again. The falling down bitcoin price at this time I believe this is only correction before its price has increased in a few hours. This is practically normal. Volatility in the cryptoverse is normal. Correction is normal (uh I mean, healthy correction).

For me, I think it happened because Bitcoin’s rise is so parabolic at a fast phase. It was expected that when the momentum stops, the market nosedives to correct itself.

If you take a look at the chart where Bitcoin quickly gained value, it could go down quickly as well. In some instances, there’s a time where Bitcoin’s value gone down that fast, it quickly recovered as well.

It’s because buyers are waiting in line for the dip to strike in purchasing their targeted buy order amount.

There’s nothing to be complained here. We’re all good here. Bitcoin is here to stay for a very, very, very long time.

the manipulation always comes when there is a correction and it always uses the fact that many newcomers can't see the difference between a correction and a crash. so when the small drop (aka the correction) starts they panic and start selling thinking it is a crash.
these people either lose a lot of money and leave or lose some money and learn from their mistakes. that is why i think the market is growing stronger every year.

If we invest on bitcoin we should be used to it. Not just bitcoin but to other cryptos as well. Crypto market is very volatile so it's just normal to see that sudden ups and down. don't expect that bitcoin will continue to rise. if you see on the bitcoin chart it always goes up but there will be a time when it will stagnate and after that it will definitely go down. so every price increase will definitely have a time when the price will drop. but don't worry because bitcoin will definitely continue to rise after several times the price drops

I agree, most people who do panic selling are new to bitcoin but there are always who are familiar to bitcoin
but still do it. most people who have been trading with bitcoin for a long time see this fluctuation as a normal thing
for bitcoin to do and they know that it will always gonna go up although there is a right time to sell your bitcoin
to get profit and buy to gain profit in the future.
