AS far as I know Scams in cryptocurrency never ceases.  There are lots of vulnerable individual that does not know anything about cryptocurrency but then enticed by the "too good to be true" offer, triggering the individual's greed.   I myself experienced the method they are using, laying out a marketing plan that my money will exponentially increase within a year if I invested on the said "ICO" but I need to refer individuals in order to get the maximum potential earnings.  Aside from that, they also boast about crypto trading, that the fund, due to the great demand will eventually increase and can accomodate payouts for all entried.  They are good with words but lack in  company legalities.  So if happen an individual does not know about cryptocurrency they will exploit it, since if one is to look for a license they will just answered, it is decentralized thus, license is not need.  See how they twisted the scenario.  They are an operating company that uses cryptocurrency, not a cryptocurrency, so license is a must for them.  So be cautious when someone approached  you offering their Ponzi scheme investments.

Its not just about greed why they tend to go into ponzi scheme, who knows those guys need an easy money to put food on the table. Ponzis are easy to see which is why its easy to avoid, its those ICO scams that is promoted by real people i the business who seem to know what they are doing. If those ICO teams are into crypto that means they know we are all in this together that should be helping the reputation of cryptocurrencies which is under pressure by governments and banks.

I am very much aware that we are to face many scam challenges as prices have started rising. I have realized we now have many airdrops in the system and some of them will be requiring you to send ETH to their ETH wallet before you receive your earnings. All these are scam strategies.

It is always advisable to become aware of scammers. The market has also scammers who are always looking for a good opportunity to scam investors or bounty hunters out of money as much as they can. I am always in favour of providing crypto knowledge to the people involving in crypto market. It will help lessen crypto-related frauds, make crypto market clean and teach investors and traders trading skills. Newbies should be extra cautious as they are often soft target of scammers.

So it's 2017 again? Wherein there's a lot of scam projects and investors doesn't do their due diligence but are more willing to throw their money around and bitch later?

That is why we always tell investors to DYOR before investing on ICO's or whatever you want to involved money in crypto because scammers are everyone so just be careful and use our common sense.
Exactly, it's no longer 2017 and we do witness a lots of scamming activities before so we need to use those past experiences, we should value our money and be careful in anything that we plan to invest our hard earned money, research and don't stop learning the whole process.

The good thing is we already have this information we only need to educate ourselves not to fall in any scamming projects.

You realize you were describing a ponzi hyip, right? No serious ICO would ever guarantee exponential returns on investment, and secondly, no legit investment would ever require you to refer individuals.

These are simple red flags to look out for, once you see those kinds of promises, don't waste time looking for legalities or due diligence. Just ditch them and if possible mark them for scams so others don't fall for it.

yes secure storage of tokens is now becoming a problem
the exchanges are robbing, their wallets are being hacked, they are trying in every way to cheat,
and in the near future it will not stop as the cryptocurrency is gaining popularity
When we want to store tokens on exchange then we are in the risk of losing it.

So try to learn about storing on wallets where your token will be safe until you are having your private keys safely.

Yes crypto knowledge is essential for entering cryptocurrency market. Everything has both bad and good aspects. Cryptocurrency has also a bad side of scammers always on the lookout to scam investors. Crypto knowledge is equally essential for even those experienced traders, not only for newbies. In my case, I have been to this market for the past three years. But I have been recently scammed by a crypto exchange named BiteBTC. So crypto knowledge is essential.

There is too much to know but when it seems the great opportunity is right now, most people can't avoid investing in the once in a lifetime sure thing.
As long as they are investing a portion of their assets and can survive, any educated guess in this environment is a risk.
Scammers are one of many problems. Even without being scammed, you can lose your shirt.

MLM projects are bitconnect and hextracoin are returning. They reopened twitter and the site name displayed a countdown of the start of the activity. I think this is a joke, if they want to attract money, should they create another MLM?

I really expect the scams to come up again as the market has showing great sign in its movement. So at this moment I expect everyone to be very careful of the projects they go into. More reasons why I recommend an IEO though

We all know, scammers have always been around in the crypto Industry, even before now that the prices are going up, they are always planning ahead on how to rip people off their hard earned money.  Do  not let your guards down as scammers will be around for a long time unless a regulation is put in place.

of course everyone must be careful about the investment we will make. scam project is everywhere, it makes us actually lazy to invest in new assets that have very little trust from investors. it will be more convincing to invest in coins in a reliable exchange.

This situation has developed primarily because this market is still practically unregulated and there are very large sums of money in circulation. Therefore, this market will always attract the attention of various hackers and scammers. In addition, to a large extent this is facilitated by the anonymity of cryptocurrency and its existence on the Internet, which is now located all over the planet and it is very difficult to track down criminals. The situation will change significantly for the better when states begin to regulate it after legalization.

Thanks for the notice and it's very important that we all stay safe out there and in every project we decide to invest into. So many scams would come up once the market starts to increase at a rapid rate. Only invest in legitimate projects so that you don't lose your funds.

Scams can never be removed from the crypto currency ever. They can be avoided by going into details of a project but they can never be eliminated. They will keep poping up again and again.

One of the major things i see about the present scam projects, is that, they now find it hard to raise much fund and some don't even raise any.
The reason being that a lot of people now seem to be aware of their strategies and before they can raise any fund, some experts would have forestall their mission and save investors from losing their money.
