I've been in mining before but I didn't encountered a scammer like this where in they will ask for details and connect you to the blockchain well only few people who doesn't have enough knowledge will be tricked by this, It's important that we should secure our personal details including our login details and we shouldn't be giving it to anyone.

A real support will just give guides and instructions on how are you going to set it up properly but wouldn't ask for any details and specific amount of coin/s.

Has there been more scams than usual? I just keep seeing threads popping up on here talking about scams. Just makes me wonder if this is the shift to hiring more cyber security firms to help with KYC and AML compliance. I know ciphertrace is a recent partner with binance and has been able to track some of the biggest money laundering moves

In the cryptoworld there will always those who will try and take advantage of those who arent knowledgeable of these attempts to steal their crypto away with an elaborate hoax or scheme.
Best to be wary about these type of individuals and the racket they try to get those who are new in crypto involved with them.

The evil I have seen in this community is that people are either too greedy or just not willing to learn basic way to stay off scammers. Falling for a cheap scam like this is very insulting. Yet many are still swimming in the bad water and at the end, they would say online storage is too risky and unsecured. Was trying to teach a young graduate whose friend's bitcoin wallet got hacked some little about securing their wallet, he said nothing can work, so walk away.

Really?, is there people who still bite this kind of scheme? maybe a drunkard but with the right mind I don't think so. In the first place there's no mining pool that will require your login details to join them, only your wallet address is needed for your payout so I find this hard to believe that this scheme still works.

There are many scammers luring in telegram too, if you contact any support of any exchange regarding your issue in telegram, you will see many messages popping up informing you that they are from the customer support and they are out there to scam your money and they will talk really well to convince you and that is what scammers do, it is a serious issue that everyone should understand and never deal anyone outside the site you are dealing with and never send any coins to any wallet.

It is quite a common thing to get from users requesting to invest on cloud mining which in reality doesn't give the promised profit on the investment. What can be amazing here is that there can still be victims of this already old way of victimizing people. One, they appeal to newbies to the game so that the victim may not be suspecting of the foul play. Second, there is that shameless appeal to greed -- of what the victim supposedly can get if he is participating in the income or earning program. When the victim is playing along well and will deposit any amount of bitcoin to the wallet that can be the last time he can see his funds. Simple but maybe still working. I am seeing so many posted ads of this nature on Facebook groups. Beware. Caveat emptor!

So true and in addition to this. They will appear to be so trustworthy, concern for the safety and the benefit of a new target victim. They will appear to be helping, coaching and giving good advices. Once they get the poor person’s trust they will then start to ask for deposit and that will be the beginning of the story.

As far as I know those people or individuals who got scam or became a victim are those don't have any idea what He/she doing or what the person entering at. It is some kind of stupidity if We allow the scammers to fool us. But having your own mining rig is good, however joining in any of the cloud mining site was just some kind a ridiculous things and most of the time they are scam mining site.

Scamer always find many kind trick to scaming people. We hope be carefull about this trick like helping to sharing your private key and login detil. Don't trust it even they want to double it your balance or helping you get profits.

The only thing we can do to prevent from the scamming is careful if we see an offers from the mining company that to mining bitcoin or altcoin will be easy because they handle everything and we only have to receive the profit. Many new cloud mining will do that to invite more people to join and deposit their money, but in the end, that company will disappear in less than 1 year.

very clear.  it is a scam.  even I don't believe in cloud mining. 
Cloud Mining services, some pay their old customers from new customer contracts that come to join.  In general, concepts like this are the ponzi concept scheme.  don't believe in hype.  You should worry if there is no mining address in the pool.
