Many questions like this existed before and has been asked by our fellow crypto folks and with the answer, nobody can tell you when will altcoins will follow or when it will go out of the bear.

The very pattern that it has, if bitcoin pumps, altcoins will have the same move and will be pumped afterwards. But if it haven't followed that certain pattern, you need to be patient and wait until most of it goes like where bitcoin is going.

Sometimes they are like that but as I have said, nobody can say and measure such period of times.

They're all unpredictable, just look at Binance coin, it has skyrocketed and went high more than its 2017's all time high.

is the altcoins her always want to be a profitable way then it need to be more valuable and demanded by the people so the good products always go with the right direction and it reaches the people that's why I think it definitely create some changes in this 2019.

I'm not a crypto analyst, but I've been watching the market for a few years now, and to my eyes there does seem to be the kind of pattern you described.  I've always assumed that since there is a finite amount of money being invested in the entire crypto market, sometimes it gets a bit lopsided--like right now it looks like most of the money is going toward bitcoin, which is boosting its price.

And yeah, I think altcoins will catch fire again, and for some reason I think it'll probably be soon.  I also hate to admit this since I'm a huge supporter of bitcoin, but lately I've been trading my bitcoin for some altcoins that I can stake for interest/dividends.  The prices seem very low, and bitcoin's price is sky high, so I figure it might be a good buying opportunity right now.

Apart from binace coin is there any other altcoins that kept its top100 rank in coinmarketcap since 2017 or reached new ATH's in 2019 and shall I assume that reaching new ATH's in 2019 will automatically keep their high rank within the top 100 anyway?

It will always depend upon Bitcoin market movement as i have observed for so many times before that every time there is a huge movement of the Bitcoin price it will create a domino effect to all Altcoins like when the price of Bitcoin start falling from $20,000 in which Altcoins and ICOs are really affected and now we see Bitcoin is rising so the whole crypto market is average increasing too.

The altcoin is not yet out of the bear market. I guess now the market focuses on pumping Bitcoin. Altcoins are experiencing very slow developments. But we must patiently wait because Altcoin will definitely experience a great pumping. I do not think that this will be the same as in the year 2017. Since the year 2019 is the market year crypto focus on price recovery.

What do you mean, altcoin is also increasing when the bullish market run. If you look at the bitcoin price a few days ago, altcoins price also increasing.

I think the pattern on 2017-2018 to 2019 is different, it's always different every year.

if you remember ethereum price bottom is about $80 and its happend in few months ago
and now ethereum price is about $240 and thats mean from the bottom now eth price already grow about x3 right ?
thats mean now the bull already coming to all great altcoins project my friend

I don't think it's a good way. I believe that the Chinese have anticipated the Chinese government's monetary devaluation plan and have started to buy more Bitcoin in the past.
The United States has always been more advantageous and therefore Chinese people want to find a new market to escape the economic recession.
We are about to see a market with many unexpected events !!

If you have followed the last increase, altcoins paused when btc started to increase. After BTC slowed down, altcoins began to increase. This circle will continue the same in subsequent movements.

Because those speculators in bitcoin are jumping back to the altcoin, this is how the cycle works when bitcoin was reaching its stable point and there will not be so much volatility and those bitcoin speculators are taking their chance and move to the altcoin as soon as possible. When you can get in early and more profit you can get.
But the good news will also at least bring a little effect to the bitcoin trend.

when btcoin rises, altcoins fall.

the same trend as above has been happening in 2017, 17, 19 and any other year. the only thing different in 2017 is that whenever there is a big surge of newbies in the market who have no understanding of what is going on in this pump and dump show, they invest their money in anything that exists. so altcoins get pumped during bitcoin rise in those times and that is the only exception.

Careful with looking at patterns. The same chart, you will be surprised, will give 10 different traders, a few similar patterns but different random ones. The more you pull the timeline or zoom in, the more different these patterns will be. And every trader is tempted to SEE patterns they hope to find.

Alts I was just saying in another thread, they are still almost chiefly reliant on Bitcoin. Until the day they are independent, they come out of the bear market when Bitcoin does.

Still, the Altcoins are in intense pressure. Bitcoin has taken a move enough upward but the altcoins are still waiting for the positive news and the acceptance of the global business to make a demand. So, it is evident that the altcoins are waiting for the Bitcoin when it will cross the previous high of $20,000.

Altcoins will pump when btc goes sideways for a considerable amount of time, desirable a month or so. But btc price also matters. Sideways somewhere around $8000 will give alts good opportunities to pump, but if btc goes down to $4000 or $5000 and goes sideways at these low levels, altc are not likely to pump. Then there will be small growth, but not something amazing.

Other altcoins are difficult to follow the bitcoin price trend except ethereum.  This is because other altcoins demand is very low due to the loss of people's trust in the altcoin.  Now all that is needed is public confidence in the new altcoins that have emerged.

Soon it will get out of the bear. Crypto users will try to find a way to find cheaper way to move their BTC and using the altcoins is an option.
We are also getting closer to adoption, those utility tokens like ETH and all other coins that has a usecase will also be used that may make its price moon.

What about bitcoin's halving event next year which is soon. Will this still keep altcoins in a longer bear market?

What about bitcoin lightning network, what's the latest on that in regards to real world adoption?

I think if not now maybe next year we can have altcoins out of bear market, or if something happen we can have this year but i think only if whales coming and buy altcoins, without money is not possible. I think bitcoin halving will help altcoins to grow.
