Just my typical habit when i do browse and make use of my PC.Im fully aware on how phishing and malware works so i would definitely say that i wont be easily victimized with that.
This is also a question on my mind on how in the world someone knows my 16 digit alphanumeric password.?
There are so many ways a hacker can get your password so you have to do a background check to a certain what when wrong.
It could be through
- Use of same login details on different websites, this includes logging in unsecured websites with the same login details, so they easily get leaked to possible hackers
- Infected browser/malicious web extensions
- Malicious software in your PC

Just make sure you use your original email to message the team, a staked address is desirable but you can still get your account recovered without it if the team find enough evidence such as change of IP logs after hack.
I'm not using the same passwords on any site and with this forum account.Im very keen about security matters. Phishing?Im aware with that.Virus? I have Eset Nod32 Premium.

I'm also aware on malicious web extensions that's why I'm confused on where did i go wrong and got still hacked.

About that message you received in your email, can you enlighten us more?
It looks incomplete. A screenshot would make things easier to understand especially that part of the sender.

No it was just an automated email from Bitcointalk that someone change up your password and email or simply a notification.

So the email is not a problem, someone got access of your email and passwords so they tried to change it which got the notification to the old email and it happens to every password changes.

If someone do have my btt password then they would definitely able to change email and password immediately. So I'm wondering where in the world they do get but well theres no
need to whine now yet only Admins would able to solve this out.Hope it would be speedy this time.  Kiss

That is why you never have to use the email and passwords which is used in bitcoin anywhere,I hope I did the same and my password will be safe.
