I'm going to come out and say this. My heart wants Bitcoin to come down to 7k and lower, give me a few more months to accumulate. Prep myself and the rest of crypto for a 5 digit price in 2020, with halving to join the party.

But my head tells me that the momentum looks too strong not to see at least a 10k test by end of the year, so 9k is definitely on the cards.

Not sure what this means longer term because it feels too fast but que sera sera.

Where were you when it was between 3k to 4k mate? 
I guess you will have to wait for another bear market if you want to buy low again. For now, it is going to keep raising with a few small fall backs.

Like i said before, whenever i see a stable bitcoin price over the weekend, it's a good sign there is going to be some nice rise at least until Thursday. So expect some more lovely greens for the few coming days.

Look like @Whaleagent were right, we've reached $8,600 today. Good job Probably the next week there is a chance to hit $9,000. What would be great is to not go below $8k anymore. If we don't go below $8k, $10,000 is possible for this summer

OP has well analyzed situation, although I personally did not expect that easy way up, when it comes to bitcoin, it should always be ready for the unexpected. One moment price was just around $8k, and then $8700 I was thinking that something is wrong with site on which I watch price, so every time I need to look for confirmation elsewhere.

Price in now very close to $9k ($8750), and it seems that we can reach that level in few days. It will be interesting to see if it will be some background games similar to that big dump few days ago. If $10k be achieved bitcoin will be in all news, such a growth will not remain unnoticed.

It's very positive, I believe that we are going to break $9000 as today we've witnessed a major spark. The trend is so bullish, I'm not going to doubt this prediction as we are already close to it, high today was $8843 so far, therefore one big push again, we'll likely surpass that $9000.

It is always that tightening pattern that affects the price but it is not always for the best. Sometimes (specially during the 2018 bear run year) when the market got more tight and then after it was realized that it can't go any lower or any higher with the movement it has the price started to drop very quickly and then did a larger movement there.

Now we are on a bull run so we believed that this tightening pattern means the price can't go up or down too much as it is so it needs to move somewhere in order to get larger and we assume it will be high, I assume it will be high too, that is the most common sense direction it will go but that is never a guarantee that it will do that, one big sale and we all will be talking about another 9100-9900 range once again, so I will not risk my money here and expect it to go higher, I will put my buy orders at 9100 and as soon as it reaches there I will buy some because I know if it reaches and sustaining around 9100 then it will reach over 10 thousand as well but as long as it doesn't reach 9100 there is still a chance it won't go there for time being.

indeed from the existing graph you can see how the price movement of bitcoin has begun to show a price recovery, but you don't like it first because the price movement of the cryptocurrency is difficult to predict.

Very strong support was formed at $8510 and bulls bought the dip quite convincingly and we are up at $8700+ again. There aren't many indications now as to where the price is heading next. Keeping in mind that EMA's are still far away, the 12 Day EMA is at $8076 and daily support at $7833 so it seems extremely unlikely for bitcoin to break the uptrend on the daily chart right now.

I asssume 8500$ acted as a strong support because in the Hourly chart the RSI was oversold and bulls quickly bought the dip. It's a classic move that happens every time the market is in a big uptrend. The RSI is extremely useful, even in the 5 minute chart after big moves because bulls will buy all the RSI oversold levels. When you see bull not buying them anymore you should expect weakness, so far it's looking good. During this small bull run, we have seen 2-3 days of consolidation at most so I'm expecting 9k to crack today or tomorrow unless something bad happens.

OP was quite right, he said it will happen in the next few days and we are almost there, in some exchanges it already happened too (the general pricing was at peak 8700 or so as far as I could see). That means this dude knows what he is talking about with the prices but for anyone that thought bitcoin would go up it meant anything close to 9 thousand dollars as well.

We were at around 8 thousand dollars and if you believed it would go down then you were plainly wrong and we went up but for people who believed we would go up where would you go from 8 thousand to up? It would have to be 9 thousand dollars so this was basically a topic about how "bitcoin would go up in next few days" since 9 thousand dollars was a given option, you can directly go above that without stopping at 9 thousand a bit.

I don't know why there is a separate thread about $9K. Because we are not witnessing any strong resistance at this level. To tell the truth, ever since the bull run started (almost 2 months back), we haven't faced any tough resistance till now. And the only time we had a dip (during this period) was when some of the short-term investors decided to do profit booking.

Just be prepared for the crash, guys. The $3Ks and $4Ks may be gone forever, but I wouldn't rule out a crash to the $6K area after all this crazy exuberance. Anyone who traded the November 2015 crash knows exactly what I mean!

Yeah, I suspect $3K and $4K are gone forever, but even if this corrects, there is just so much upwards momentum as well as fundamental factors, such as the upcoming halvings of bitcoin and Litecoin, that I think would prevent anything severe. I highly doubt we will retrace back to $6K, but anything is possible. In any case, any major retracement is likely to be followed by another parabolic move.

Well let's take a look at some of the corrections from the last Bitcoin bull market.

July 2015: $318 to $198 (37.74%)
November 2015: $502 to $294 (41.43%)
June 2016: $778 to $465 (40.23%)
March 2017: $1,350 to $891 (34%)
June 2017: $2,980 to $1,830 (38.59%)
August 2017: $4,980 to $2,972 (40.32%)

So it seems like a 40% correction would be quite normal. If the price falls 40% from the last high ($8,940) it puts us at $5,364. That's why I think the $5,000-$6,000 range is still very possible.

We hope $9000 we finally reach for this week or end of this May of month is good to see $9000. So we can move for our next target which is $10,000 . I really think now bitcoin will finally break $9000 and the price of $8000 will not become lower because I think bitcoin now that is strong foundation value for this week. But we need more improvement again and more suprising in the bitcoin.

Thats true we really hoping that it will happen soon, but not this month, maybe on June. We know that the price is already $8k and it much higher again to reach $9k price in the coming days. But even if the others will doubt it, i still hoping the price will break $9k or either more than above to our expectation.
