Many projects have been successfully launched through ICO.
Like what? Can you link me to a few of them? Not even 1% of the ICO's actually turn their idea beyond the whitepaper and funding. The work is forever in development and it does hit the exchanges but never solve a problem the product was intended to solve.

Because recently many projects have been scams resulting from unclear funding management that made people no longer trust the ICO and they turned to the IEO. But in my opinion ICO will still run well if their funding management is clear, or a trusted team.
I hope they die.

You are talking as if ICOs and IEOs were two absolutely different things when the second is an evolution of the first, the same with STOs, and I guess new models will keep on appearing in the future. What is true is that the IEO model is the most popular right now.

I think ICO still alive, but it is hard to earn money from ICO because so many ICO is awaiting the rise again without knowing when it will happen. Many people still waiting, and some of them desperate to know that their token is not worth at all after they work as participants to help the project reach their goals. I think the era of ICO has ended and now we see a new program called IEO which already launch in many exchanges but for how to take the profit from the project, it still not clear and we still need to research which project that could help us to gain the profit.

I agree that ICO only needs a little polish with the rules that make the ICO more interested in investors

no more ico in crypto market.investors prefer participate on IEO that they could directly sell their tokens or coins after IEO finished.maybe this is the new era of crypto crowfunding.only best projects that able to list in iEO.and as investors we were very protected with this.

too many developers leave their projects after the ICO is finished. this is caused many investors didn't trust in ICO anymore. I agree with you, if there are parties who can make regulations and filter scam projects I think ICO will be as crowded as before

ICOs are dead--which is good. Majority of projects in ICO are crap anyway. Also the reputation of ICO is so bad that the word itself is immediately linked to scam. In retrospect, this phase made investors more wise in choosing good projects. Now that IEOs have spawned, we are finally going in the right direction.

I also don't think that ICOs are all dead. But many potential investors are already very careful. I have been also a victim of some ICOs in the past. In my opinion it is better to buy tokens after exchange listings.

I believe Icos are passing through an *evolution* process. They are becoming scarce, while Ieos are appearing more frequently, as it brings more guarantees to investors.
They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.
A more regulated Ico is an Ieo, as the exchanges will do the job of investigating the project to accept it on their platforms. So they will have to know the team behind it, to know if they are professional and every other important details.
There is also the need of kyc for investors (I don't know if it will be a must in every cases, but more frequently, at least). If it's regulations you want, then Ieos will please you.

Or try to join with IEO's as the listing secured you to have some good value of those tokens, keep finding and reviewing projects and the exchange that will sponsor the process, ICO's have been replaced inside the minds of those short term investors, they don't want to wait for longer process but to immediately
have results after the sale process.

There are still so many ICO in the community and there are worth to have.
THough the community has change and many scams happened for years.
Now that the IEO is here, ICO should stop and turn into IEO...

The  ICOs done since 2017-2018 was done by the team that aren't courageous enough to put their reputation on the line even  when they know they have collected funds. Teams can't just find a good programmer to develop their project to have demands in the public and for them to hire a good dev, they  need bigger funds.

Projects today, particularly with EOS they only need their tokens distributed and no ICO nor IEO anymore.

ICOs will never die, as long as people have new ideas there will always be new coins and tokens to invest in.  It is definitely a very risk thing to invest in but the gains can be huge.  I haven't totally given up hope yet but I'm just being more careful.

ICO problem is when Coin listing, while the superiority of IEO, they introduce coins in the market directly, so with the emergence of IEO, ICO itself began to be abandoned, I see the future of crypto in the IEO now, because with IEO investors can directly interact with coins in the market, and see their own potential.

Not die but evolve. It would be correct to write that now is the time IEO. Perhaps soon they will turn into STO. The undoubted advantage of the IEO is that two tasks are solved at once: the sale of tokens/coins and listing on the exchange.

ICO's are not dead they just simply switched to IEO's the scheme are slightly changed. But a lot of tokens setting in my wallet now are just sleeping I wish they will show any signs of life, maybe some of them are waiting for the right time to launch on Exchanges.

ICOs aren't dead, but IEO is a new trend replaced ICO. I don't think it is strange, I also noticed that some companies changed ICO to IEO, due to this trend.

It's not completely dead yet now since there are still some upcoming projects. The reason why IEO come is that most investors don't trust it anymore because when it enters in exchange there's really a big difference.
