If ICO not dead do you know any success ICO in 2019?

ICO are dead, it is a fact.
However, even in this dead state, the ICO market manages to produce successful projects, from the last of these projects the Ferrum Network project.
It raised $ 1,120,000 on the sale and successfully placed on the exchange. Now it is trading below the price of ICO due to the general downtrend in the market.

True, I'm sure this year we mustt say that ICO is dead, many projects reportedly reached softcap but have not been available in exchanges for a long time so this is proof they are a scam, I hope there are no more scam projects again a large and publicly acceptable project.

that's right, for the past few months i noticed that ico wasn't going well and many projects didn't have news after they finished ICO even though the project has reached SoftCap. it looks like the ICO is really going to die now and maybe as you said this year we have to say that ICO is dead.

You can't blame everything on the market. If a particular project is good, then it will give you good returns irrespective of the market sentiment. I checked the charts for Ferrum Network. It has lost more than 50% of its value in just around one and half months. Actually this is very discouraging. When a project suffers such a heavy fall in such a short duration, you know that there is something wrong with that. On top of that, the trade volumes are also declining and this token is listed in only one exchange (BitMax).

There are multiple red flags with the Ferrum Network project. Why the team is refraining from listing this token in multiple exchanges? Right now it is being listed in only one exchange, and from the order books it looks like someone is dumping the tokens there. This follows a very similar pattern. Once the ICO is over, the team members dump their allocation and exit the project. The development becomes stagnant and gradually the token loses its value and gets delisted from the exchanges.

Interesting article about the death of ICOs and the emergence of IEO... https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-icos-really-dead/

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.

Considering the beginning of 2019 till now, majority of projects launched used IEO as their method of crowdfunding rather than ICO. From this, we can all see that ICOs are now things of the past. Most investors prefer IEO making projects having ICO not having investors to support their projects. In as much that there are no specifc differences in how IEO and ICO raise funds to support projects, investors prefer IEO over ICO since it reduces the investment into scam projects....  Currently, ICO is somehow dead.

Yes probably there is no way there still people will invest in ICO even they know what result will be in the past ICO project .even those ICO that raised many funds has almost dead in the real value when people investing in it..

not dead, it only decreased a little because the IEO is booming now, because some IEO have collaborated with the exchange where they collect funds, so in other words the coins will already be listed on the exchange, unlike ICO who still have to find a place for listing, and other factors, there are still many ICO scams that have sprung up, thus dropping ICO's reputation for now.

ICO is dead. Although there is still some, there are only a few enthusiasts. Gradually it will also disappear. Even though there will be a very good project later, people's trust in ICO is already negative. Investors are very smart and careful about putting their money in. Better to buy coins that are already listed in a large market to avoid fraud or scams.

Some projects prefer the ICO method because it is directly controlled by the developer team. Indeed, currently there are many new projects that prefer the IEO method, but I think ICO is still an alternative for some new projects that do not have a lot of money to pay exchangers.

now the ICO's reputation has collapsed, although there are still many ICO projects launched in this forum but not so by investors, now investors are afraid to invest in ICO projects for several reasons including being vulnerable to fraud. now investors are smarter and prefer to invest in safe and profitable IEO projects.

Safe and profitable? i dont think it will be the same in long term this is just a new trend but it will never be good to invest in any kind of token even it is from  IEO.

These days — still not quite dead, but they will likely never be what they used to be. IEOs are the way to go, even though they are a bit limiting.

I think ICO's are not actually dead. many projects still run ICO. the dead is the belief of users who are the victims of scam ico projects. even me I dont believe on ico's anymore or unless they run for long term with products and funds. but mostly of investors now are choosing IEO's so we cant expect a lot from ICO's to be a lived again. If you are just new in investing.. just take a deep read about the projects IEO is still facing unsuccessful rate. just be alert.

Watch out for this SPACE!

IEO is just like ICO reinvented. ICO is not dead, though IEO is more attractive and having an advantage being listed on an exchange, yeah you're right that there are still scams in IEO or simply not successful. I hope that exchanges will be more stricter in accepting IEO project and be more stringent i scrutinizing it, not just interested for money being paid for listing.

ICO is complete fake one which there is no development activity even after collecting huge amount through ICO's. IEO is an updated version of ICO, but still, we don't see any development activity from the IEO's, so it is an exchange duty to check whether the listing IEO is suitable to generate volumes after listing in the exchanges.

actually I hate to say this but the reality is that ICO is dead, I mean ICO is no longer a good fundraising method, most ICO projects are now polluted like bad fundraising methods.

ICO was a great way to raise funds for your project, until scammers abused it and gave it a bad name.

I hope they're dead. Because a lot of investors have been defrauded by ICOs. Because during the ICO process, the projects were not going through the AML process. So fake teams tricked a lot of people with fake promises.

Its replacement IEOs are much more secure, both from an investor point of view and from a user point of view. Blockchain is a highly rapidly evolving technology, and it has become a necessity to get rid of crooks in order for the continuity and quality of technology to be sustainable.

People have come out of that hype where every coin was pumping and every ICO was raising in millions. That was an euphoric period which is always followed by a correction phase which happened throughout 2018 and now market has again started gaining momentum and volume but with caution. So, if the the project is actually worth it, ICO can still raise the desired sum. Otherwise people have enough examples to know which ICO can sustain in longer term which can't.

They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways.
ICOs don't need to be regulated.  They need to be taken out to the woodshed and shot like a dog.  Failing that, the scammers need to be driven from the ICO space all together, and if that can't be done then at least there need to be projects which actually contribute something...and deliver on their promises.  All of that stuff is what's broken with ICOs right now.

It's an unrealistic hope, but I truly wish people would stop advertising for ICOs that they should reasonably know might be scams (or crap projects).  If that would happen, I'd predict a lot fewer investors would be getting scammed and the scammers themselves would get hit hard in the wallet.  This is going to go on and on until people wise up to the fact that the game is rigged.

ICO is not completely dead but many ICO scams so investors are afraid to invest in ICO. there are some successful ICO like miracle tele and several other projects. And the emergence of IEO like it will kill ICO. i think next year the ICO will not be there anymore.
