Why Bitcoin Testnet Address Started With m, n, 2, or tb1, Instead Of 1, 3, or bc1 (Like On The Mainnet)?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

On testnet private keys uses a different format too.

I found this with all address prefixes: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixes

Just like most of bitcoin forks use a different address format to prevent money losses. For example, Bcash now uses q..., bitcore uses btx...  bitcoingold uses g.... and so on.

Why Bitcoin Testnet Address Started With m, n, 2, or tb1, Instead Of 1, 3, or bc1 (Like On The Mainnet)?

Its already bad with people sending forked altcoins to mainnet (or viceversa), imagine if testnet used the same...
