We have been seeing news about major industry players dabbling into blockchain technology since Bitcoin rose into popularity. Are they merely hyping the technology, or is it really worth all the media attention that it gets?

There's no doubt blockchain will revolutionize the current systems around the globe. Though there are factors affecting its mainstream adoptation. One of them is the government yotal recognition. Maybe some governments are measuring the pros and cons of blockchain. There are security issues about blockchain technology.

Yes I believe that blockchain will empower the system of the future because all we know all people want a fast and more convenient transactions so in the future when the time that all company and merchant are going to accept bitcoin as a payment people will completely embrace that blockchain system and it will controll all the transactions all over the world.

Maybe a lot of people use the blockchain because without an intermediary to transact and be safer to use because with a computer system that can now be progressively advanced..

If we are going to move into the era of AR, AI, where Jobs and services will be delivered over a 5g and more fast Internet, then blockchain use will be a necessity. |

I will tackle something that is not related into cryptocurrency.
We are all aware of the elections in every country (most).
cheating is a big problem in this world and most cheaters are corruptors.
then if blockchain will take place the election proper then i will tell that the most honest election will occur.
This is one of the reason i like blockchain, it is recorded and can't change by anyone!

I believe yes but it will be very long to be applicable. Tax issues, banks and governments have to make regulations and running tests are all difficult issues.

Blockchain never launch an advertisement though so the people who study and eventually started using it are the ones who gave good feedback and that's the time the attention of media circulate around it. If the technology is good enough then there's no need for a paid advertisement because the word of mouth is the most powerful form of free advertisement in any aspect in our world.
Blockchain is the future and well known companies are on it.

Blockchain technology is not bloated. There is a growing interest in investing in projects, most of which are nothing, this is done to earn money on hamsters.

Currently there are so many who adopt Blockchain technology because it is very useful for them and the special advantages that exist on the Blockchain, it's time to rise up and spread throughout the world, very good for the progress of Blockchain itself and Cryptocurtency where more people will be known along with increasing popularity , it is not only open to talking about profit but I will only think about the progress of both, because if it is big, we will all be good in the future, whoever wants to fight.

Those platforms like what they are seeing, and what are they seeing? A technology which has grown tremendously despite all that was said about it.
They are after blockchain because they have seen what the future will look like and don't want to risk it for anything. The world is innovative, so if they don't get acquainted now, those who do will beat them out of business.
Blockchain is offering that which the world really needs; that is decentralization. So yes, with time blockchain will empower all systems of the world, just a matter of patience.

It has just started already. Every companies is looking for development for blockchain itself. They are trying to integrate blockchain and their system. Blockchain is greatest techs ever. Yes, we should develop it but I am sure it will be dominant on the all sectors soon. |

It could seem there’s just a handful of uses of the blockchain technology. But just what 90% of ICO projects makes it seem like. We’ve seen a good number of project that has distinct use in the world right now. We have bitcoin, accepted by a good number of firms as a trustless means of payment. And then we have Ethereum accepted as a trustless means of agreement. I hope we get more mind blowing use of the blockchain tech. Not just the profit, it’s going to come later.

I believe there is quite big chance we will see blockchain integrated in alot of things . Ill give it like 60-70% that it will happen . Got alot of questions about personal data on blockchain , as it is public and there is GDPR ( General Data Protection Regulation ) . Not sure how it works , but im sure there is way around it already... |

In my opinion, for now it is 95% hype and only 5% is real value. Blockchain real value is still in idea,a lot things to do to achieve those dreams and it's never that easy. But, it's always worth to get media attention, let media knows this decentralize world from the development phase so people are always ready to migrate from centralize to decentralize one. |
