Not sure which part of the world you are living, there are several restaurants accepting bitcoin and several other currencies as payment across Europe and US. There is no reason for a state to interfere unless and until you are dealing with illegal trade or money laundering.
I used bitcoin transactions in restaurants in the past while i was travelling and it is not big deal anymore as everyone knows about the cryptocurrency market.

One of the reasons on why we wont be seeing full adoption scale towards these fast food restaurant or any business that do really hesitate when it comes to volatility. Excluding to those business owners who can really
accept or do took the risk without any doubts or simply saying that they do accept if their profits or money converted to bitcoin would really go lower due to market price movement and the rest is just really like to
play safe and thats why they dont really bother on integrating crypto payments because of this. Yes, we do had already that digital or cashless payments with fiat system and majority will be seeing
that we wont really be needing more alternative on this one.For those who do reside on countries that does have fast food restaurants that do accept crypto then good for them.

Here in India, I have seen one coffee shop accepting payments in Bitcoin (when I was visiting Delhi). But apart from that, I haven't seen Bitcoin signs anywhere in any of the shops. Now coming back to the payment part, just 2-3 hours back, I had to pay $9 for a single transaction as fee. The fee is getting sky high, and the time needed for confirmation is also going up. And this makes it very difficult to make the payment in BTC. Do you really think that the shopkeeper will be patient enough to wait for 1 hour?

Thats the problem for the bitcoin as payment processor, maybe EOS or XLM maybe will more promising as a payment processor. Also theres another problem, many people seen cryptocurrencies as investment goods not as a payment processor, so they will think it makes more sense to pay using fiat whose value will continue to fall rather than using crypto whose price may go up.

I don`t see any matter of which type of money use for small transactions like these. Cryptocurrencies are very comfortable to use for fast and cheap international transfers. Moreover, only few blockchains can be used for it now.

Such integration could help blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies, but I don`t see any advantages for fast food restaurants.

As of the moment I havent heard any restaurants whose accepting cryptocurrencies as mode of payment and transaction but it will be a very good news if it will happen because it will create/open a bigger opportunity for the people to get to know the benefits and get involve in cryptos.

I think interesting how some popular restaurants brands like Burguer King and Pizza Hut don't accept bitcoin and/or ethereum as payment method worldwide, except in Venezuela. Maybe it's due to the high depreciated national currency there that makes the franchises owners prefer to take the volatility risk of crypto currency than taking the risk of holding fiat.
In this case seems like the risks totally worth as at least with crypto currency you have serious chances to increase your money in value, while in venezuelan bolivars it's 100% certain to lose your money's purchasing power fastly.

I prefer holding my own crypto instead of using it as payment in some fast-food restaurant. Since the price is really high, the fees are also that high and I don't want to waste money just on a single food. I prefer using fiat when paying. If that is a USDT, it might be good since that token is stable in terms of price. It is near from happening wherein fast-food restaurants to accept crypto as payments, because as time passes by, the knowledge about cryptocurrency is spreading, and there are big companies already adopting the use of crypto as payment.

USDT could be a great choice for fast food restaurants to join the crypto/Blockchain revolution. The don't have to face the volatility risks of traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum by accepting stablecoins as payment method. Fees will not be an issue if the selected stablecoin lives on a scalable blockchain network. For instance, fast food restaurants could rely on the TRC-20 version of USDT to save off fees and reduce transaction waiting times. Without the need to go through a middleman for handling payments, stablecoins could gain traction in the business sector.

Nonetheless, crypto adoption among fast food restaurants is still low. The reasons for this are many including (but not limited to) volatility, lack of education about crypto/Blockchain tech, and limited customer base. As long as Fiat remains the dominant form of money, the vast majority of businesses won't consider crypto as an alternative payment method. We may be stuck with crypto-oriented debit/credit cards, until crypto becomes mature for the mainstream world. Maybe sometime in the future, we'll be able to see renowned fast food restaurants like KFC, Burger King, and McDonald's accepting crypto as payment method in the mainstream world. Just my opinion

Do you happen to know of any fast food restaurants which accepts crypto in the mainstream world? It would be extremely convenience to buy food with crypto anywhere in the world. Since crypto often behaves like cash (no middleman or KYC required), it proves to be even better than credit/debit cards as a payment method. The only issue would be dealing with price volatility. But fast food restaurants can simply convert crypto to Fiat instantly via the use of a payment gateway (like Bitpay or CoinPayments).

If you happen to know of any fast food restaurant in the US or anywhere in the world which accepts crypto as payment method, please let me know. I'd imagine this would increase mainstream adoption of crypto at a fast pace. Paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum at KFC or Burger King would be so much better than paying with cash or credit/debit cards, in my own opinion. Thoughts?

So far I have never seen a restaurant or fast food that uses crypto as a means of payment, maybe because the crypto price is very volatile and changes very quickly. but I really hope that this can happen, so that crypto can be better known by the wider community

In my opinion there are no such restaurants yet, I wonder how such a thing will be arranged and whether the states will not interfere with the work of such places

Here in my local country before pandemic begun, I saw and discovered here accepting Bitcoin, and Ethereum as mode of payment
to their business, but of course when Pandemic started they've started to closed because of the lockdown, I don't know if they are open now,
and not only one I have discovered there are other's restaurant as well doing the same thing where accepting Bitcoin too.

As of the moment here in my country I haven't seen or even hear about a fast food restaurants who are accepting cryptocurrencies as mode of payment however if I'm not mistaken there is a resort in one of the famous beach whose accepting bitcoin and ethereum as mode of transaction and payment. I have already heard and seen in the news that sooner the banks will accept cashless transaction with the use of cryptos that will definitely a game changer here in our country and will definitely patronize by fast food restaurants as well.

I don't know any but i heard about a few.even few days ago, i saw a thread where a person wanted to take payment though crypto currency! i assume, there are already a list of restusrents in the world who are already start taking payment though crypto.nowadays car company, big institutions are quiet interested on crypto currency even they are accepting bitcoin as payment.so believe soon we are going to know the branch of restusrent names soo who would accept crypto payment

Blockchain is indeed a solution for a payment because we can make transactions quickly and simply,
but anyway as you said that not every place provides blockchain services for sure,
and that becomes an obstacle and hopefully in the future blockchain services will be evenly distributed,
the important thing is to follow the progress and hope for the best
