I still cant sync the new wallet, tried running it on 2 seperate PC's (win) used the .conf as advised, gets a few blocks in then just sits there

Howdy. Trying to update my old wallet. Downloaded this new one and replaced the old one (backed up wallet.dat and everything else). It doesn't sync or do anything... but hey it launches... which is more than I can say for most osx wallets in 10.7.4. I don't know where to place the new blockchain or the new nodes in osx. I cannot find a conf file.. looking in package contents of the app itself and in application support. If some kind soul could walk me through getting this new wallet synced I would be very grateful... and will even give you a tip (provided the coins that were autopaid to the old wallet by mistake show up). |

You datafiles should be located with your wallet in something like ~/Library/Application Support/Electric (hidden in some versions of osx) The included peer.dat should take care of your node requirements. Electric.conf goes in there as well; you need to create your own from a text file. Good Luck Promethium |

Nice to see some community backing for the coin finally! Has the official dev approved of having the coin taken over yet though? I'm a proud supporter of volt and see a bright future for it; but we just need to get over this rough patch, which is firstly the dev not doing anything with it.
