I think that it depends on the situation of that coin/or that project as a whole if they're making good progress, effort in marketing, or was able to successfully follow their roadmap. Like what others are saying, if the project is not going anywhere, better invest it in BTC or other activities such as gambling if you want to go YOLO or participate in this
evolved IEO that lets you buy discounted tokens that are already in an exchange. But if that coin's team members/devs are super active and making good progress as a project as a whole, you might wanna hodl to it a little bit more and enjoy the ride.
