By looking only at the yearly lowest dollar value you'll find out that Bitcoin is always more expensive in a given year than in the previous year. On average, its dollar value increases (at least) 325% p.a. on average (2010 - 2018). Thoughts, ideas? Full video at http://y2u.be/5TMygwWv4dcMy thoughts are that given the huge volatility of bitcoin and the fact that over a long period of time we have had orders-of-magnitude level changes, then a straight linear price chart will tend to just show the most recent price variations, with anything historic effectively smeared to a flat line. So if you want a better indicator of the trend, I'd say switch the chart to log view, as below. My conclusion from that would be that we are moving upwards, and that price variations tend to be cyclic within that overall upwards trend. So good news, people, hold onto your bitcoin and buckle up for the ride ahead!

Most huge volumes are just whales moving around their money. regular traders and users barely make a blip on the market charts

I think it's more so that people ruin their own savings by not allocating a portion of it to different (more promising) assets. Everyone by now knows that fiat only loses purchasing power, but not everyone hedges against it. I'm not sure if it's mainly ignorance or just the average people being very risk averse, but it's quite shocking how they let it happen and watch their savings (they worked their entire life for) depreciate a percentage or two annually. Bitcoin has gone up so much throughout the years, that it has undone every lost percentage in purchasing with just its first bull run years ago, and when you add the bull runs that came after that it's even more impressive. Buy Bitcoin short central banks. Pretty much that.

isn't that how traders do technical analysis? by connecting these lows to draw support line, and highs for resistance line the support line shows an increasing pattern means more supporters on bitcoin through the years why it's increasing? more bitcoin adoptions, more people investing, and etc...

This year will be a bit different than the last year. Normally, the lows are a lot higher than the previous year because the highs and lows happens during the middle of the year, this year the peak was at 2017 December and then it all went down from that hitting as low as 3.2k on November/December levels and then hit 3.4k but than the new year started.
So, because of the bad timing the 2018 low will be 3.2k as far as I know and the 2019 low will be 3.4k but since we are going up now the 2020 low will be a lot higher probably as long as it doesn't fall once again. That is why even the yearly lows are not showing how much bitcoin usually goes up every single year if you take the yearly price average and see how much it was most of the time during that year then we can talk about how much it goes up every year.

So long 2020 has not come or we are even yet to see the market close for 2019, I wouldn't predict or look at any future yearly low for the two years, that is , the 2019 and 2020. The fact that we have seen such low already this time that put shaver on people's knees, it speaks a lot of what could come.

Full video at http://y2u.be/5TMygwWv4dcYearly low is a good understanding of how it always goes up but it is missing the main point of how it also goes up every year as well. I mean the price is going up for sure but at what cost exactly? Are we really willing to go to 20 thousand dollars and back to 4 thousand dollars again for example? If you were given a switch and make bitcoin go 20 and then drop to 4 would you take it? Maybe for personal reasons to profit you would but aside from the in a market stance it would be horrible. That is why market lows are great indicators showing how every single year it is going higher and higher and that means in 5-10 years it will be at over 100k for sure but we should also take a look at yearly highs to see the differences and try to at least stabilize it a bit.

Considering that yearly lows of bitcoin for the past 10 years, bitcoin investment might be good for long term. Whatever happens, leaving your bitcoin for few years, you'll still end up with profit. You can have a yearly buy and sell to earn bigger returns of investment.
That's true the only exception was 2018 after Bitcoin's all-time high in 2017, but if you are too patient and you have a strong believe in Bitcoin you can leave it in your wallet and come back maybe two or three years by then Bitcoin could be worth double of 2017 all-time high, but of course this is just a possibility and not a fact.

Well what we have here are just pure speculations except for those previous years wherein bitcoin price had made a high surge. But as far as i know, bitcoin can be more profitable if you learn to hold it for more longer years because its price will surely grow in time too, especially if you do buy low and sell high strategy.

I've noticed it years ago but I wasn't looking at the lows but at the highs. Watching the charts made me realize that if you buy bitcoin when it's going down no matter from where you will always make profit within a year or two.
If you saw bitcoin going down after the 2013 bubble and bought at the first sign of slowing down in the first dead cat bounce somewhere around 500 dollars you could make a lot of money in the same year 6 months later when it was trading at over 650. If you didn't and just held you only had to wait for 2 years to profit. If you bought at 10 thousand or above you will still profit after 2 years. If you bought lower you had to only wait for 1 year or less to profit.

Yes. Bitcoin is giving us more profits every year because obviously its price is gaining more growth as years goes by. Just invest in a long term and definitely you'll make big profits if you also invest with more patience and dedication in the crypto market.

Because when the market has only a few hundred people, manipulating the price to double is an easy task. But when our market has grown as it is now, we should compare it in years. The last 2018 was a huge failure for many investors and it created wealth for a few people. But I still believe that, BTC is still on a good growth and it can break the $ 10,000 threshold in 2019.

But if we can catch the right moment to sell it just like December 2017, then it is good to have profits for short term also. I like this kind of market wherein all could be gone in a single day, I truly believe that I would be fortunate if I stay connected with the crypto space and hold more Bitcoin for my future and my family's. I will give this a shot.

Full video at http://y2u.be/5TMygwWv4dcThe lows for every year is always above what it was in the past years. Just take 2016 to 2018 as an example. In 2016 the lowest price of bitcoin was around $600 and in 2017 was around $800 before the bull run that took the price to almost $20,000 and it then dropped in 2018 to a lowest of $6000 which is way above that of 2016 and 2017. Though this year was different, Lowest this year was $3,300 before this uptrend that we are seeing now. So the lowest price for every year is likely to be above the lowest for the previous, but still if you invest at the wrong time you're still losing, doesn't change anything.

Yes. Bitcoin is giving us more profits every year because obviously its price is gaining more growth as years goes by. Not sure where you are getting this idea because the market caps rises and drops everyday and so does the price. You are wrong that every year price rises - the prices fall as well. Year 2018 was a good insight into how manipulated the prices can become. Just invest in a long term and definitely you'll make big profits if you also invest with more patience and dedication in the crypto market. That is correct though. Long term value of bitcoin is rising. But the last 2years have been up and down and even today bitcoin is below the 10k mark which is low according to many bullish traders.

Year-to-year we are still up by 2%, so that's already a accomplished. However, it's pretty obvious that by looking at yearly lows, it will be very different as adoption grows, more people became aware of what Bitcoin can really bring to them financial and other factors. And we should also factor in the block halving every 4 years. This for me is very important why the price keeps changing every year. Bitcoin is getting difficult to mine and that what makes the price goes up and down, every year.
