The creator of bitcoin does not have backups? .. hehehe... at this point, I think we're just trolling the troll or something like that.

The real Satoshi is alive and well, having cashed out his second generation coins that he mined, leaving the original first reward era mined coins (before the first block halving) untouched all the way to the genesis block. Or not. No one knows.

No.. no research at all, just something I would have done had I been the creator. It's not that much harder to continue mining well into the early GPU stages. Would have also moved a few coins after the first half million mined.

Satoshi clearly did a lot of thinking before launching the coin. It would not be inconceivable that he had a plan to cash out some of it with a way to distract the rest of the world, knowing the blockchain would record everything and the first several hundred or thousand blocks being watched forever.

So he sacrifices a million coins, ... keeps maybe 100k. Or 10k. Or even just a thousand. Whatever position he was in prior to releasing Bitcoin, he already had access to some computing power, servers ... probably was already living comfortably.

He created a coin, a store of value, a medium of exchange, a unit of account, a complete monetary system, "out of thin air" = not really, but only the first of its kind would succeed in this. So a couple million dollars worth would be more than enough to fund the rest of his life.

It's not hard to check if any of Satoshi's forked coins have moved by using a website like http://www.findmycoins.ninja.

But we only know about the first million. How about the rest? Those coins we'd never know. We don't even know if he mined anything after the first million, we are just speculating that he probably did because he could have. And I seriously doubt he would do anything with the forked coins; he didn't even bother to touch the orignal.

We'll never know. All we know for sure is that it isn't Craig.
I'm as much a disbeliever in Craig as any one is able to pragmatically construct their balance of probabilities.

As far as most should be concerned, CSW is not satoshi.
If you want to be exact, CSW is almost certainly not satoshi. There is a chance CSW is a master troll, perhaps even a master baiter. Wink

In a useful system of beliefs, we have reality and we have fiction: true and false. Something is true if it is not false, and vice versa. The determination of which category is defined purely by the rules of which the system operates, be they axioms or derived thereof.

To further designate truthfulness, there is a concept called 'burden of proof'. Some may choose to use the null hypothesis to exemplify a similar point.

We will begin with our baseline point:
P1 - An individual claiming that they are satoshi without evidence is not satoshi.

If P1 is not true, then any individual claiming they are satoshi is satoshi. This is an undesirable outcome, thus P1 is true. If you wish to continue with P1 as false, then allow me to offer an alternative to the next point: P2 - I am satoshi. This presents a burden of proof. After all, believing others' words as if they were reality would be a quick path to doom.

P2 - A message signed with satoshi's keys verifies ownership of the keys and satoshi's cryptographic identity.

P3 - Craig Steven Wright has not signed a message with any of satoshi's keys, Bitcoin-based or not.

P4 - Craig Steven Wright has faked a signed message, claiming to be satoshi.

P5 - Craig Steven Wright has not shifted the burden of proof and has insufficient evidence to prove ownership (partial or full) of the satoshi name.

I could go on but we already have 40 pages of the thread. Feel free to jam anything against P5. The other points are surely sound to even B:SV supporters.

Reposting here because 'Bitcoin SV' uses self-moderation (censorship) and frequently deletes users posts ... like it's an immutable ledger ...

Theymos on our side. Your efforts is futile.

I highly doubt that. Not after Craig said this in court:

Quote
Hydra was worse than Silk Road. The nature of Hydra that Theymos wanted was as a mechanism to have children exchange hard drugs for pornographic photographs.

That's such hideous bullshit. I don't know how anybody could take Craig seriously after having told such disgusting lies (among many, many others) in a court of law. You should be ashamed for continuing to promote his scam on this forum. Don't confuse theymos valuing freedom of speech for being on the side of one of the biggest conmen the crypto world has ever seen.

Scam can't be in ninth place at coinmarketcap.

What does Craig have anything to do with BSV? The whole point of BSV was to lock down the original protocol so no one could change it (even Craig can’t change it).

BTC = communism
BSV = Capitalism

This is why BSV is pumping out larger blocks on average than BTC nowadays

https://sv.coin.dance/blocks

Because communist BTC developers have not restricted the block size.

Your going to lose all your hair arguing this Nutildah

Unlimited data storage can most certainly only equal increased centralization and then the original use case of transactions will become equally limited.

That pic reminds me of the scene in The Truman Show where Truman is using soap to draw a space suit around himself.

If you look at Craig's picture, you'll notice there's a big empty space in the middle of his doodles so the viewer can clearly visualize the depth of his smugness, fully confident in his belief that the world revolves around him.

I don't believe a second, compatible implementation of Bitcoin will ever be a good idea.  So much of the design depends on all nodes getting exactly identical results in lockstep that a second implementation would be a menace to the network.  The MIT license is compatible with all other licenses and commercial uses, so there is no need to rewrite it from a licensing standpoint.

BSV $105.57 +15.67%

Bitcoin SV Price          $105.57 USD
Bitcoin SV ROI           19.55%
Market Rank              #9
Market Cap                $1,884,951,630 USD
24 Hour Volume         $424,702,501 USD
Circulating Supply      17,854,986 BSV
Total Supply              17,854,986 BSV
Max Supply               21,000,000 BSV

Thanks for sharing! Was looking for an altcoin to short at the moment so nice to see BSV has pumped for whatever stupid reason.
It's nicely coming upto its 200 Day MA and TD Sequential 9 will arrive tomorrow, time to accumulate more BTC again from BSV lovers  Cheesy

Thanks again Bitcoin SV! Currently up 7.6% with leverage after shorting the close of the TD 8 pump. Now I can just move my stop loss down as it collapses.
It's always nice to know I'm gaining Bitcoin from BSV investors  Grin

Cheesy

For all fairness, this date of birth for Satoshi could be fake, even if provided by the real Satoshi.
Since "Satoshi Nakamoto" is most likely more than one person, this date could have a hidden meaning and not be the real birth day of someone.

Still, I'm amazed Craig didn't forge his own birth date and ID to match Satoshi's date! Cheesy

“Sigh… why delete a wallet instead of moving to aside and keeping the old copy just in case? You should never delete a wallet.” (October 10, 2010)

I think he followed his own advice. It's out there somewhere, unless he's dead.

In which case:
