Here's a shocker: now Craig is saying he may never be delivered the private keys to the million BTC.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-27/bitcoin-alleged-creator-says-his-fortune-may-remain-locked

https://markets.businessinsider.com/currencies/news/claimed-bitcoin-creator-says-his-cryptocurrency-riches-could-be-locked-2019-12-1028786649

Quote
Wright added that he never said the "private keys" to the other half of the bitcoin fortune would be available or used in January.

"I do not intend to dump my family's BTC as some people suspect or want, as this would hurt many people in the industry," Wright said in the statement to Bloomberg.

But he also said this to his Slack channel, which of course didn't happen either:

And just for fun, here's Craig being booted from a 2018 Bitcoin conference in China:

He's being called out by Satoshilite.

BTW, my posts recently deletedin the BSV thread:

Quote
Now fraudtoshi aka Craig Wright writes shit about Hal Finney

https://twitter.com/MyLegacyKit/status/1173953365342117893 (thanks again to Arthur Van Pelt)

Finney was arguably the major contributor to PGP, so his coding skills were top notch.

See what he wrote about Bitcoin, and we KNOW he mined Bitcoin very early.

What did Satoshi think about Finney ?

Two humble ultra skilled coders with mountains of respect for each other. Just the opposite of the fraud wannabe Satoshi.

Imagine if one day all PoW operating resources will go to BSV. Did you know that you can already store several Terabytes in a micro-SD in 2019.

It's more likely to go on a weekend trip on the moons of Jupiter than having all of POW (I hope you mean SHA256 ASICs, otherwise it's worse than I think) dedicated to BSV.

Nobody is forcing you to use Segwit by the way

Suuuurrrre.

People changed the bitcoin protocol.... other people didn't adopt those protocol alterations (segwit and opdsv).   It's quite simple.

Nobody is forcing you to use a Bech32 adress, you can use a Legacy adress.

https://medium.com/@buddhasource/bitcoin-legacy-vs-segwit-wallet-address-what-is-the-difference-cb2e71ab8381

Nobody is forcing u to use a coin that runs on up to 3 different histories, has nothing to do with BitCOin any more - but has ticker BTC

Use something much more transparent and scalable

Closed source development is not transparent.

Quote
hv_ is a dumb BSV shill and liar:

https://www.reddit.com/r/bsv/comments/edr0av/massive_replay_theft_coming_to_a_scamchain_near/
Step 1. Find all transactions on Bitcoin which pay to P2SH outputs with known redeem scripts and who's inputs haven't been spent on BSV.

Step 2. After the hardfork, replay all those transactions on BSV. This is permitted because "After the Genesis activation, the original signature hashing algorithm, which is still in use on the BTC blockchain, is valid for outputs created before the Genesis activation."

Step 3. Immediately after (or even in the same block), collect all those newly created P2SH outputs. Because they were created by the replays post rule change they can now be taken without access to their private keys. This is possible because of the first paragraph I quoted and the last one.

So yes according to the 'spec' P2SH is still enforced for old coins but after the hardfork replay protection is not enforced. So replay can be used to make a boatload of new P2SH outputs which can then be taken. Replay protection post-fork point would even prevent anything except the first move of these coins from being replayed-- you couldn't replay their whole history up to current or at least the point of invalidation due to coinbase mixing. The rules look like they were specifically designed to have this effect, otherwise they're really weird.

After all, if the goal were "original behaviour" why would replay protection be selectively defeated only before the fork point instead of just applying the original algorithm going forward?

I love how Craig/Coingeek already started damage control.

Quote
As I’ve explained in court proceedings, I believe I will receive information in January 2020 that will enable us to identify coins I mined into my companies in 2009 and 2010, but cannot be certain that all of that information will in fact arrive. I have not said the private keys to those coins would become available, or if so, actually used, in January 2020. In the next few weeks, we will be holding trust meetings and working out the next steps going forward in 2020.

Anyone know whether our special friend operates on Australian time no matter where he is?

It's 2020 in Sydney now. That means he should've revealed bitcoin's 'fatal flaw' by now and he might already be giving the 'bonded courier' a cuppa after such a long journey.

So bitcoin should already not exist, and he should be dumping 1 million non existent coins any second.

Oh and monero and zcash should be broken too.

Busy 24 hours for him.

Great, so:

1. Bitcoin did not 'die' due to a fatal SegWit flaw he would reveal, as he predicted in Nov 2018.
2. There is no bonded courier.

In 2020, BSV (and BCH too) are going very butt hurt...

#BCH and #BSV have played a dumb game to produce blocks faster than the average 10mn time, toying with the difficuty adjustment algorithm.
They are one month ahead of #BTC for their halving. Prepare yourself to see their hashrate crumble and may be chain stuck after the halving.
While #bitcoin will still produce a block reward of 12.5 BTC / block until its halving, #BSV (#bitcoinSV from #faketoshi) and #BCH will give a tiny 6.25 coin reward per block, with a much lower demand.
Miners will have to massively leave their chain to mine BTC for better rewards
Its not their Tx fees than can reverse this situation.
BCH and BSV have indeed produced +/- 1000 more blocks than Bitcoin although they should all be at around the same height ( around 610750 for BTC).
Hold your beers...

Hahahahaha

Yeah, that fucktwat australian pumpkin farmer will do whatever he can in his own interest in order to spin matters, and you gotta be pretty fucking dumb to either have believed that he had the capability of moving anything close to a million coins (even close to 100k coins would be amazing for some dweeb like that to accomplish), and so yeah, no matter how the twit spins the matter and give him all kinds of benefits of the doubt, we are going to be witnessing excuses and putting things off or changing goals or reframing the situation rather than anything meaningfully close to his having any real physical access to accomplishing the moving/controlling coins objectives that he had proclaimed to have had.

More evidence of a fraud, and surprising that any stupid follower of his does not catch on at some point, and funny his fraud coin has not gone to zero, too... his coin seems to be holding value pretty decently given all of the ongoing ridiculousness of the whole thing.

BSV is probably in a better position. It only has one miner - our favourite chicken fiddler - who'll stick at it no matter what while it fits his plans.

He clearly doesn't give a fuck about how much it costs him to keep it alive and a reduction in block reward won't matter. And I doubt on chain fees have ever crossed his perverted mind, not that there are any.

I'll guess he's waiting for a generalised alt pump to offload. If that doesn't materialise in the next couple of years then we can talk death.

BCH is rather more up in the air as I presume there's a bit more pragmatism from the people who mine it.

If BCH still has Bitmain's favours, it stands a chance. Bitmain will be served early by TMSC for the 5nm node, so a new gen of ASICs will come in 2020. Should be H2 though.

Without Bitmain support, BCH is in deep waters.

For BSV, around the halving we'll already have had a lot more fun from the Kleiman case + the McCormack trial for libel (schedulded for april), which will get more bad PR for BSV, because they really suck at damage control. Everytime faketoshi runs his big mouth, it's more evidence piling against him.

BSV is starting to lose long time supporters whether it's twitter or reddit.

Calvin boy will indeed bleed more money.

Well, doesn't it seem that Bitmain's hand is kind of forced in terms of their bcash (referring to the ABC version rather than the SV version) support.  Of course, they could write the whole thing off, but they leveraged pretty damned deeply into that badboy, and surely there are some questions regarding either where it is going to lead them, in terms of ongoing bag holding.. and/or if they can continue to sustain it.  Surely there could be some insider ways that investors like Calvin can keep profitable with SV, but seems like a BIG ASS stretch... and jeez, could it also be possible that fraudster pumpkin farmer could end up in jail before such April trial?  Maybe I am engaged in too much wishful thinking regarding a possible "prevailing of justice" but I doubt that courts are very tolerant to the ongoing shenanigans of being lied to in court proceedings... even when some of the proceedings might be behind the scenes and apparent settlement efforts.

Great, so:

1. Bitcoin did not 'die' due to a fatal SegWit flaw he would reveal, as he predicted in Nov 2018.
2. There is no bonded courier.

If you type "bonded courier" into Twitter, some pretty amazing results show up.
