we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?

Here I will give a little opinion that if bitcoin dies then it will be replaced by another coin, because now its position is at level 1 in crypto, and what can make that bitcoin die is decreasing public trust in bitcoin which results in the loss of interest in bitcoin.

We are growing in technology and the glove need innovations that will vastly catch up with the movement. Bitcoin is placed for that and if it is no more, we are going to have a more so better tech replacing it. I hope this can go a long way to your question.

If bitcoin die, but this will never happen, will be replaced by another crypto but i think bitcoin and his blockchain will survive for long, and will be number 1.

I really hope that this does not happen. But cryptocurrency is very unpredictable, but if it is still permissible then I think that cryptocurrency will not happen either if Bitcoin dies.

But BTC will not die anytime soon.
There is ethereum. There are a lot of coins like EOS, Cardano, NEO ... Now it looks unlikely, but the time will come, and some of these coins will have market share and profit. This will make these altcoins independent of bitcoin. That's when we find out what will happen.

It seems to me that it is almost impossible because Bitcoin is the Leader on which everything keeps and in fact everything depends on it. There will be no Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Just for my opinion, I don't believe that it will die as it already survive the volatility, if things will happen the crypto market will collapse or chances to die along with it, might be the scenario that we will see, Bitcoin as base currency from this industry.

I expected to see this post under bitcoin section, but nevertheless let me drop my opinion. Can internet die? Will mobile technology die? This same questions come to my head when I see questions like this. There is no way bitcoin will die. Blockchain technology (fine-tuned) exists because of bitcoin invention, that's a point you should note. Even the authorities enacting laws to restrict bitcoin in their jurisdictions, some still have a bulk, in case. There is no way bitcoin will die, so definitely there is no straight reply to this question. If bitcoin dies, crypto is dead, you don't need to ask a voodoo priest to tell you that.

The world is in need of technology, when the development process keeps on improving the technology will be taken forward to different dimensions. With this we might get something better than bitcoin, but the same isn't the end. From my understanding about cryptocurrencies, however things go advanced bitcoin will always serve as the base as the reference with which others were valued.

if bitcoin dies in my opinion there is a possibility that some cryptocurrency will be very influential maybe some crypto prices will go back to basics, and a new cryptocurrency will emerge that will replace bitcoin but this could be bad news for cryptocurrency and could destroy thuis industry a bit because some investors and also holder is disappointed.

Cryptocurrency world will still continue even if bitcoin dies because even right now, aside from bitcoin there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies and still a lot more are coming out every time. If bitcoin indeed dies which I know will not (only my opinion) there will still be other cryptocurrencies that will replace, maybe will not be as strong, popular and big in value as bitcoin but there are numbers of leading altcoin right now in markets so maybe from the list of these will come the crypto which will be next in rank to bitcoin.

If bitcoin dies, maybe people will leave crypto world because a lot of pair in market is in BTC. Or maybe Ethereum and other top CMC coins will survive and start to stand alone and make their pair in market. |

What do you mean by die? Go back to triple digits like after Mt Gox? It will always have value as a collectible so going to double digits is out of the question. It could get overtaken by another coin but it won't die. my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto

First of all, I don't think bitcoin is ever going to die until a vulnerability is found which can never be fixed or something new came out that makes the current crypto currencies obsolete. If any of these two thing occur, bitcoin will die (though chance of them occurring is extremely low). Other alt coins will also follow the trend and will eventually wipe out of the market. |

I think bitcoin is now too big to fail. It can't die so i can't make any assumptions if bitcoin die.
Bitcoin will continue after our lifespan is over.

Well it is the desire of only the banking community and some governments that want this to happen but im confident that btc will survive and thrive forward because being decentralized and open source i think it will continue to progress untill there are developers working on it and the community of supporters.
