ABOUT US

CPU ONLY, NO POOLS SOLO MINED.
Privacy, Anonymity, Fair Mining as well as Proactivity in regards to possible regulations

AmityCoin launched on Nov 5, 2018 as an experimental pool and GPU resistant project on CryptoNight SoftShell (author: @iburnmycd).  Shortly after the project launch, two of the founding devs moved on and I recruited some anonymous and pseudonymous volunteers and sponsors, drafted a White Paper (link) and relaunched the project as a project for the “Digital Anonymous Citizen.”

We are now executing on our plan, involving taking several “best of” projects and combining them to build a project in our vision. After some time at the helm, it was apparent that Pool and GPU mining software was coming and wanting to stay true to the projects original vision we had to make a choice.  Give in and allow GPUS and Pools on our network or find a way to continue the fight against Pool Centralization and for GPU/FPGA/ASIC Resistance...

Enter Nerva, The Nerva team, Cryptonight Adaptive and a Collaborative effort between The Nerva and AmityCoin teams.

Nerva is a project that is challenging the norms in crypto in more than one way. It is a unique project forked from Monero (XMR) that is striving to reach tail emission at a rapid pace to show the world what a network on tail emissions will actually function like.  This is something a lot of people are interested in seeing.  Furthermore, Nerva utilizes the Cryptonight Adaptive PoW algorithm originally authored by @angrywasp which takes random data from the blockchain itself as a requirement for its hashing process.  This means that each miner must run a full node with a copy of the blockchain which makes creating the pool and mining software needed a much more tedious task.  Coupled with the constant development of the algorithm itself by the Nerva Team it has proven a formidable adversary to GPUS and Pools alike.

It is for these reasons that AmityCoin has decided to Fork Nerva and operate a coin swap for users of the Legacy network.  Our new network launched on May 31st at 4:16 AM UTC and our legacy users will be receiving their coins in the next 24-48 hours.  If you are a Legacy user who has not arranged to take part in the swap please pop into our discord and I will make sure you are taken care of once you provide your Wallet Seed from the Legacy Chain. Users only have until August 31, 2019, for this secondary swap.  Our sponsors are providing an audit and we will burn any AmityCoin that is not swapped prior to then.

Below are our network specifics and what makes us different from other projects. AmityCoins focus will be threefold, number one being Privacy and Anonymity, second being Fair Mining and true Decentralization and third,  a focus on staying in front of possible upcoming regulations and working with the proper channels to ensure we stay within those regulations allowing us to prosper while fighting for users rights to privacy.

NETWORK SPECIFICS

TICKER: XAM

ADDRESS PREFIX: amit

Block Time Target: 120 SEC (2 MIN)

P2P PORT: 41018

RPC PORT: 51018

PoW ALGORITHIM: Cryptonight Adaptive Feat. Cryptonight Soft Shell

DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT ALGORITHIM: LWMA-2

CODEBASE: Nerva (XNV)/Monero (XMR)

DECIMAL PLACES: 6

BLOCK REWARD: 186.000000 (Static does not change)

SUPPLY/EMISSION: Indefinite

AmityCoin originally had an emission schedule of over 2000 years which was chosen by the original founders.  The idea behind this was to provide a PoW Privacy Coin that is mineable for generations without having an exorbitant Block Reward.  The current team believes this a valid strategy to create project longevity.  It is for this reason that we have decided to change the parameters of the new network to something no other Cryptonight Project is currently doing which is a static emission. We believe this will provide stability for miners and as well as miner liquidity.

EXCHANGES

Currently, AmityCoin is traded at Cratex Exchange

Cratex has helped facilitate the coin swap with users and trading will resume in the next 24-48 hours after the swap is complete.

We would like to thank Cratex and its operator for all their help.  It is much appreciated.

Amity is now also traded at tradecx.io and First Crypto Bank.

Both exchanges decided to list AmityCoin on their own volition.

Link is fixed apologies

Purpose of forking was we already had a coin on a different codebase.  This codebase allows us to better achieve our goals and fight for Pool and GPU resistance.
.
The Premine Is the exact amount of coins that were in circulating supply.  you can view the Legacy chain at https://legacy.getamitycoin.org and compare it with the genesis block on the new Explorer at https://explorer.getamitycoin.org

All coins from the premine will be swapped and given to the Legacy chains users.  Any coins that go unclaimed after the swap period will be burned.

Why are the rest of your team members just cartoons. That sure does not give other people confidence to invest their resource into the project. Does it?

Because they wish to remain anonymous contributors.  I will never force anyone wishing to contribute to doxx themselves as I have chosen too.

purpose of forking is explained in that pre-whitepaper over there:
Code:
https://github.com/CalexCore/assets/blob/master/AMITY%20PRELIM%20WHITE%20PAPER%20v%201.1%20[v%2004.16.2019]%20[FINAL].pdf

"No premine":

#define BLOCK_REWARD                                    ((uint64_t)186000000)         //186 amit
#define GENESIS_BLOCK_REWARD                     ((uint64_t)26859932000000)    //26,859,932.000000 amit

Its all explained in the Linked paper.  You can read the source but not the paper it seems.  Unfortunate.  The Premine is to swap for coins that were on the Prior chain that's it.  Any left over after the claiming period will be Burned preserving our No Premine status,

Seriously have you ever run a crypto miner/daemon before and never had a false positive?  If you are at all worried why not decompile it a Reverse Engineer it or better yet Just build from the OPEN Source code yourself?

And yes they are ALL coin miners except for the 'Generic' false positive in the first result.

I fail to understand your point.  The Source code is auditable and anyone can build from source.  Furthermore, I'm not anonymous (As seen on the website)... I would have to be some kind of stupid to put a payload in a binary I release publicly.

Thanks for the laugh though.
