I think bitcoin and eth are both crypto currency coins that are both potential and very popular with the public. But public popularity and trust in bitcoin is so ingrained that bitcoin can continue to lead the crypto currency market. Bitcoin and eth continue to compete even though eth technology is better than bitcoin technology but it is not easy to defeat bitcoin. Maybe someday if the community is more aware of the benefits then it will switch to eth. Now the community still maintains bitcoin because bitcoin is still potential and provides big profits if invested or used for trading.

I think that is different coin condition but if i have to choose that is BTC.
BTC is center of cryptocurrency and always be the first of all coin, we can call it all father in cryptocurrency.

I think BTC is the leader of other cryptocurrency.

Agree with you bitcoin is the best and it is the best crypto currency which made huge progress in market, people only knows bitcoin because it is there in the market since long, ETH is good too but bitcoin is the mother of all other altcoins, since long the price of bitcoin I getting higher and low to give us an opportunity to have so many coins at low price and to hold after that so bitcoin is the best coin because of which crypto market has value.

BTC is the mother of all the crypto and it will take a really long time for some coin to beat bitcoin IMO. Yes, the biggest drawback of bitcoin right now is the speed which they are actively trying to fix.

There's always an advantage being the first and being the basis of the market, Bitcoin will remained as the top coin around even there's still issues with transaction speed where the team is trying to figure out which will be the best solution.

In terms of investment  purposes, people will also be attracted to btc as there's only limited supply that eventually if all already been mined, value will increase far higher if everything around the industry will go accordingly.

Well, BTC is the trendsetter, therefore will always be the most import and loved cryptocurrency. Ethereum focus is on the DApps and follows a similar ideology. I personally believe they will coexist, probably in the near future ETH change its expects to also serve as a payment method for commerce, not only to pay the network.

Perhaps at some point, BTC will serve as a currency for "big" stuff, like buying a car or a house; and ETH will serve as the common currency for the day to day expense.

Bitcoin is the most developed blockchain network and in fact it is dominant. There is no chance to overcome its predecessor at ETH, it is important to just take the 2nd place and hold it tight.
The blockchains themselves are different in their tasks. If bitcoin is "gold", then ETH should remain "silver".

All the reasons are valid, but the whole community are still  in support of Bitcoin because this is the one that started it all, speed and transaction can be resolved and the community can find a way, the whole community believes that Bitcoin should lead us to the full adoption of cryptocurrency before the other coin can take over if they had a chance to do so.

There are advantages and disadvantages for both coins, maybe speed of confirmation, but always there Bitcoin is the starter of this crypto world and Ethereum is the king of altcoins.

There is always a solution for everything. We can't deny the fact that the problem btc was facing was that of slower confimations of transactions and the higher fees. However, some may convert their btc into eth just to lessen the fees and to make the transactions faster than the usual btc tx's. With this issue, traders are still preferred btc. Let us see how eth will surpass btc with this said issue.

There is no point to compare these two coins. If you are good to go with both then go for it, you don't need to care with these stuff anymore.
If you prefer ETH over BTC, but you still have BTC in your wallet then you should go away or vice versa.

BTC will continue to remain on the top of the coins as it is the king and the leader in this space. ETH remains the top of the altcoins and with btc rise ETH will also continue to grow and expand. So better to keep on investing in both of this coins as result will be positive and will grow in coming time as well.

I agree. There are some things that ETH cannot do and the only bitcoin can. The popularity of bitcoin worldwide since 2017 is very high and the crypto lovers are still increasing since then. ETH is better when it comes in processing but what if BTC already solve the problem on fees? For sure there will be many more establishments that would accept bitcoin and adoption will expand world wide.
I do like ETH for some reason the value of it also increases in just a matter of time but I believe that there is nothing wrong if BTC and ETH will be working together in the future.

I think it's stupid to compare any coins with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the creator of the cryptocurrency, and all the other coins are just an alternative to Bitcoin

Both are like the couple destined in the crypto world, bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency because the price is the highest among the other coins and Ethereun is the mother of Altcoin because the highest Ethereum prices and both have very profitable potential if owned.

I agree that Ethereum is a very good coin but still Bitcoin is the king. Bitcoin controls the market. When it rises all other coins also rise, when it drops, the whole market comes down. I still doubt that Bitcoin has any competitor yet

This is why theres LN but yet there still lots of things to be fixed on when it comes to Bugs that's why its the main reason why it isn't really fully adopted or commonly used yet.
Comparing ETH to BTC? They are different on any terms but I don't really believe that ETH can easily replace up the King of all crypto in a short span of time.
Theres a possibility but we wont know on what happen on future.

The Ethereum blockchain have a whole lot of advantages over bitcoin talk in terms of speed of transactions. Also the use of decentralized applications on the blockchain of Ethereum. This has made the Ethereum blockchain network admired by many developers. However this does not mean ETH would beat BTC in terms of value.
