The hacker transferred the coins on 31th of May though I didn't login In at that date, I've sent the support
They replied to me with this

Quote
Dear Sir or Madam,

We must inform you that due to irreversibility of the XRP Ledger transactions, we unfortunately can't refund your losses.

In case your funds have been compromised we suggest the following:

1) Make sure to transfer any remaining funds from Ripple wallets to HOSTED wallets.

2) Immediately inform local law enforcement agency and file a report.

Additionally, we kindly ask you for your cooperation to help us with the investigation.

a) Have you ever received any suspicious emails that were emulating an email from GateHub and asking for any kind of personal information related to your GateHub account? If so, please forward it to security@gatehub.net

In future, note that we only use the xxxx@gatehub.NET domain, be wary of others. We never ask for any kind of personal information (e.g. login passwords, etc.) via email. Please keep that in mind for future reference.

On the same note, please make sure to always keep your personal information safe and secure.

b) Have you ever used or are still using any other gateways besides GateHub and Ripple trade, or any other XRP Ledger network clients using the same XRP Ledger secrets?

c) Have you ever used the same login password on a website other than gatehub.net?

d) Did you have 2FA enabled for your account at the time of the unauthorised transaction?

If you have answered positively to the questions above we urge you to change your login password and enable two-step verification.
Kind regards,

Lado

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

If you were hacked, why blame Gatehub?

Also, this is not the right place to post it.

It seems you got hacked, phished or got infected by some malware that gained access to your Gatehub wallet.
Gatehub sent you an email to inform you that they noticed unusual activity on your account, probably new IP addresses logging on or big amounts being transferred out of your account. Why do you believe that Gatehub is behind the hack, as you are calling them a scam?

You should scan your computer for viruses and malware and even reinstall your OS to be 100% safe. Try to remember if you downloaded anything unusual just before your account was emptied, clicked on unknown links etc.

And like the previous user wrote, consider moving your thread to the altcoin section as this is not a bitcoin related topic.

I had 2FA enabled and It's been untouched since 2017 If you google the address you'll see I'm not the only one hacked.

Did you set your account with 2fa enabled?

If it's 2fa enabled it's impossible that someone can access your account unless if they have secret copy of your 2fa keys or possible someone has remotely access to your laptop or PC where your 2fa software installed.

If you haven't set the 2fa in your gatehub account hacker can be easily access your account that is why they are always remind you about the 2fa.

I had 2FA enabled and It's been untouched since 2017 If you google the address you'll see I'm not the only one hacked.

Oh. maybe there's an issue in their side.

Honestly, I don't trust to save any coins in an online wallet which is not well known I tried searching about this site and most of the users are having different issues about gatehub.

I don't know if you can recover them but try to scan your whole PC and report them to their support and tell them that everything is safe and ask about 2fa how hackers could access your wallet without two-factor authentication?

Because it's impossible to access the account without 2fa digit pin.

I found this on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Ripple/comments/bwn09t/gatehub_hacked/ and here as well https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/31759-a-few-user-reported-their-gatehub-wallet-been-hacked-and-xrp-sent-to-r9do2ar8k64nxgld6ojoywaxqhus57ck8k/

So it's not only you, or you wrote this two threads too?

And most repellent part is they don't even give a f*ck for this, there's no single update on their official social media accounts related to this issue.

I haven't login for a very long time  but recovered  my account this time only to check if my balance are still there.  Luckily, its untouched. The  only little XRP I can afford and were saved since 2016 are still here. If the  hacker has the access, he  probably just didn't have the interest to send my XRP somewhere else as they are just too few.

Normal that they would prioritize those wallets that do have big balance and leave out the smaller ones and its much better to pull it out no matter how small it is.

This is the part which do suck which seems they dont really care at all on such thing yet theres no word nor announcement of this issue.
