Yeah I thought that ICO will be one of the top tier altcoin on this day but after they held an ICO, they were quiet already. I'm just thinking that they are still on development but it looks like the time has been enough for them to conduct such developments. There were no reports about the progress of TON. They can't blame if the people now are thinking that it's just a collection of money done for their pocket's sake and not for the entire product they have.

I haven't heard anything from the real investors though. TON was a private ICO and they haven't started a public ICO yet. And we don't even know if they plan to start a public ICO.
We don't know what the funds are being used for and if the investors are being paid anyway. Though no huge changes, we have been seeing small changes over telegram almost every week.

I have seen the news that they developed new programming language and will soon release their mainnet. I do not think that such big company scam people.

I have read many sites in Google that TON telegram is not a scam, moreover we know that they have a strong team and community. but for the future I don't know exactly whether it's really scam or not. because everything doesn't always produce good things, of course there are negative things too.

TON was a closed sell. Only selected investors got a chance to invest and the minimum amount for investment was $1 million. And the private closed sell was a huge success collecting over $1.7 billion, double the expectations. The funds are said to be used in advancement of Telegram and we'd to see more and more ads on coming times.

I have never known TON before. This is an ICO project created by the Telegram team? Are there any related ANN Thread on this forum or any relevant information exchanged here? If it did, this could be a hidden investment. If you are not an investor in the previous event, you may not receive any information.

It's still too early to draw any conclusions about the TON Project, result will be in autumn this year. Now Team is working on testing its blockchain. The program Telegram open network includes several blocks: Ton storage - creating a decentralized system for storing large amounts of data (the principle is similar to Torrent). Users will be able to rent and lease their disk space, of course, for tokens. Ton proxi - a decentralized VPN service (to circumvent censorship), over time can become a real alternative to TOR. Ton servises - to create decentralized applications (simple smart contracts for JAVA) and that's not all. The most famous block of project is Ton Payments with its cryptocurrency GRAM. |

I don't know if you are asking a question about the telegram ton ico or are you trying to give us an insight of what happened? Well I am surprised and lost as well on reasons why they have quiet after raising such huge funds.

I also do not like the fact that the telegram team does not seem to be good at communicating with their community of supporters neither they post regular updates, till they change this and come up with solid progress unfortunately, we are going to keep seeing such accusational posts, so personally i would suggest ton team to be more responsive and post regular development updates with the community.

I have seen their good rate scores in ICOBench, but for now I have a slight hope for holding this. Because right now I have doubt on this project. Their community was near to dead. I certainly hope My guess was wrong after all.

The ICO/private sell was actually for creating a blockchain called TON which would be used as a one stop solution for every kinds of communications. GRAM would be the currency of this blockchain and it would be open for everyone for use. So, it's not just Telegram but a new concept that could or could not change the future of communications.

In my opinion, this is not a scam. The project has a lot of prospects and in the future the token will appear on major exchanges and most likely can rise in price. I believe that the project will certainly be successful.

Telegram being quiet doesn't make their TON project a scam after all what they had was private sell and during the period much wasn't said as well about it. They're probably in contact with their investors and development ongoing as well.

Time would tell. And the time is speaking. The private investors have had nothing, not even updates about the project in the last year and they are getting frustrated already. The so called ICO in liquid is just one of the private investor selling off his tokens to reduce his loss on the tokens. There are no official announcement from the Telegram team till now.
