In our country you can use cryptocurrency to buy game credits, pay utlity and bills, shop online, mobile loads, and etc since the local wallet that we have is contracted with a lot of merchants. I think this is way convenient, as time goes by crypto will be accepted by most merchants.

There are actually smaller establishments that accept Bitcoin as payment. I have heard that statbucks is accepting Bitcoin as well as Mcdonalds. I'm actually paying my tuition fee online through Bitcoin as a payment and it's more convenient for me.

I think Walmart has not yet decided to join the bitcoin bandwagon though sooner or later there is a big possibility that they will if they can see a big market waiting for this service. When retailers can sense of an opportunity they are like sharks or vultures that will certainly want a part of the action rather than continuously an observer. Starbucks has already team up with an app and yes it is now accepting bitcoin.

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/bitcoin-stores-spend-where-starbucks-whole-foods-crypto-a8913366.html

Retailing is one area that bitcoin can influence and though the adoption is slower than expected, I have no doubt we will eventually get there. The potential of this market is staggering and can open up many doors and windows previously closed for the king of cryptocurrency.

When I saw a list of companies that allow using cryptocurrencies to pay for goods and services, I could not believe that there are so many companies. The topic of cryptocurrency is still new, in my opinion, and only in the last couple of years has the mass distribution of the cryptocurrency trade started. But the positive dynamics shows that in the coming year the number of retailers ready to support this undertaking will grow to a giant scale, which makes me very happy

It is cool to say that you buy cryptocurrencies, but if you don’t know what the rules of trade are, then you don’t make much progress in this business. Cryptocurrency cards, ATMs, shops accepting cryptocurrencies, the world is really becoming more adapted to the trends.

Even if they are providing BTC as a payment option, not many are actually using it due to the fee problems and TX times. This will change in the future once LN becomes fully operational along with other positive developments.

But the positive dynamics shows that in the coming year the number of retailers ready to support this undertaking will grow to a giant scale, which makes me very happy
This won't just happen within a year. It will take several years down the line as more and more institutional investors continue investing in this market and as developments move along at a regular pace. Adoption will move upwards in a slow and steady manner.

Just buying and selling cryptocurrency without tracking trends and not thinking about the predictions you earn is not much. Cryptocurrency trading as well as any financial transactions follow the rules and it would be good to know these strategies. I found good explanations of trading strategies on taklimakan platform. And when you understand what to expect from the market, you begin to see trends.

When a friend told me that he had seen a cafe accepting bitcoins in Sweden, I thought, wow, they are already ready to work with crypto! What was my surprise when I also learned that you can use with cryptocurrency to pay for goods on the official Microsoft, Shopify or Paypal. Cryptocurrencies everywhere, that's cool
Although so far a small number of people use cryptocurrencies, but the situation will change. And those merchants who prepare for new trends will be left with big bonuses. Yes, the government does not regulate cryptocurrency, it is a risky investment, but face it. cryptocurrencies will continue to spread throughout the world

The straight and honest answer is that there are none. Some people say, but you can shop at Microsoft with Bitcoin, and I've read online that it's true but only to reload your wallet, not to actually buy stuff. The balance can be used to buy very limited things, and can't be refunded. I wouldn't know, because my country's not allowed apparently.

A lot of people shop at Amazon too but Amazon itself doesn't take BTC. they do it via Purse.

This is definitely true. We may not notice the adoptions occurring around us but Bitcoin is actually moving fast and is being used in different ways. In our country, we are able to purchase online goods through our local online market and it's convenient with just a small tx fee.

That's right coinatmradar has almost 5000 bitcoin ATMs and US has more than 3000 ATMs, check https://coinatmradar.com/countries/.
If for a major store that accepts Bitcoin quite a lot, some time ago large companies AT & T also received bitcoin payments, quite a lot of which is also BitPlaza: https://www.bitplazashopping.com/.

What you see in 2-3 recent articles about this is probably all there is since if it's considered common, it must be a big name which is least likely to miss.

The usual workaround for this is gift cards (check bitrefill, gyft & egifter[US],) and bitcoin debit cards. I don't recommend the latter as it is in a bad position rn with all the kyc and the lack of countries whose ppl are eligible to avail it.

I thought weekend see all the merchants map who is accepting Bitcoin as a payment method at bitcoin.org. anyway, it's good that a lot of shops nowadays accept Bitcoin payments but still, we are far away from decentralization and having the true value of digital coins in our world. Maybe one day I can buy candies with my digital coins.

Starbucks has already received payments using bitcoin, this shows that bitcoin will someday be used as an international payment system because it will be very easy and efficient if we use bitcoin as a payment tool when we transact with someone abroad who will consume lots of time and transaction costs.

There are many big stores from big companies claiming to accept Bitcoin and some other Altcoins as a form of payment. But most of you will take a long time to use Cryptocurrency at the point to pay the costs. Because the staff here do not know it and have not trained in this new form of payment.

Yes, Starbucks and other big shops are accepting bitcoin but it is not straight bitcoin. It is through a third party app named SpedN built by startup Flexa. I do not think there is a common enterprise that is accepting bitcoin right now.

We live in an age of rapid development of technology, so those people near whom there are no offline stores accepting Bitcoin, can search online stores with this method of payment. Google will find any of them at your request.

Yes, I can verify this as I've heard of the news before. Starbucks has already started accepting payments.

Through iPayYou - Starbucks app integrates with Bitcoin wallet

Through Flexa - Customers Can Spend Bitcoin At Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods, Whether They Like It Or Not

That is a lot better than not accepting any cryptocurrency at all. I think it is more convenient for establishments to be accepting bitcoin with the help of third-party app as there can be a mechanism that can protect them from volatility and I guess this can be less headaches on their part.

I am wondering if because of this third party app, would the price be overcharged in terms of btc? The percentage that they are getting aside from the fact that you are like selling your btc at a lower price. This is one of the struggles of a customer, thinking that it's better to store his btc, believing that it will tremendously increase someday and pay in cash instead.

Wow, you can already pay things like electric bills. That means your government accepts it with open arms. The next step is paying for perishables. You pretty much have everything covered. YOu are very lucky.

Still depends in your country. If bitcoin and crypto are widely accept in your country, you can find more stores and businesses who accepts bitcoin for payments.
In my country, bitcoin is slowly getting accepted by people. And the government isn't that strict when it comes to crypto that's why there are various entities that you can pay using bitcoin. Although I haven't seen personally or have tried going to an establishments like fast food, restaurants, etc that accept bitcoin. It's more of payment for utility bills than services and goods.

What about a convenience store? There's 7/11 that is utilizing the use of cryptocurrency by directly selling it to users in their counters. Eventually, as market adoption increases, I will not be surprised if 7/11 sells their products in cryptocurrency as well. One of the main reason why this is not implemented yet is because of the taxes needed to be assigned on each of the product, there's still no regulatory that is responsible to manage the suggested retail price of products in relation to its tax.
