Being for several month in declining channel (yellow) currently the ETH price is forming and descending triangle that is a bearich sentiment signal.

Bitcoin price renewed a minimum of 7 months and currently is traded around $6500.

The impulse and bearish sentiment were quite expected in terms of a descending triangle that was forming in November-December. Besides, the price moves in a downwards wide channel since spring 2019.

Halving might improve the price but this is rather a long term process that is not felt currently. Keeping an eye at more short positions in the short-term.

Bitcoin has gone through some serious price downs or dumps in 2019 with only a few phases of some increase in the values. It a couple of months ago went beyond 7000 dollars. People were expecting it to raise high in December but still prices are down. Like most of the traders I am also in the favor of halving which will for sure take time but help crypto currencies over all to increase in values which are what people want.

The New Year is coming, as well as long-term projection.

It's getting more interesting here, as inside the downwards channel formed the golden cross (view the previous post) is formed that is a bullish sign. Along with this, the head and shoulders pattern is being formed since the beginning of the month. Currently, we are at the bottom of the second (right) shoulder.

Thus, the next movement is likely to be an upwards tendency with significant levels of $7600, $7800, $8150 and above.

2020 formula is:
Golden cross + halving + head and shoulders = bullish trend

Sorry, why the right shoulder state is so high? I was sure that usually, H&S is a symmetrical figure, isn't it? And in this case, our goal is near $7850-8000. What wrong in my mind?  What if we see dreams not reality? I'll be glad to get BTC price up to $9000-9500, but Santa don't want

Yeah, it is. According to H&S, the level for the price is lower indeed. However, I'm talking about 2020 that is a rather long term

Started the year in the right way!
The major significant bullish&bearish levels are at the chart.
Closed long position in the middle of the neutral channel during the consolidation

2020 started in a green color. The strong level (upper border of the range) $134 was broken out after the breakout of the overall downward trend breakout. Then followed the retest pattern (at $134) that confirmed the bullish sentiment along with the cross (MA50 & MA100).
Opened a trade at the retest and closed it at the price consolidation (the second significant bullish target).

The price was the fluctuation in a neutral range for some time (most of December). However, at the beginning of the month, the price broke the upper border out ($7900) and reached the next target ($8500). The resistance turned out to be strong so that the price consolidated giving a signal for the short trade. I opened trade at the second top inside the consolidation. The price dropped to the support (trade closed). For now, the price still stays at this level. Let us look if it goes up or enters the neutral range back.

ETH price correlates as usually with BTC price. After the strong breakout then dropped breaking out the strong level. Then followed the retest confirming the movement of the price (the right time to open a trade!).

XBTUSD price after the breakout of a range with the upper border of $7900 consolidated forming a triangle inside the diapason of $7900-$8500 with the core levels as the upper and lower borders. Currently, the momentum is expected. I'm waiting to open a trade at the confirmation candle.

Opened a long after breakout at the price consolidation. Closed at $8790. Currently, the price is expected to move inside the range of $8500- $9400

Thanks mate! Hopefully there is a change for bitcoin ATH price this coming 2020. Many people are waiting for this moment. This is just a preparation of a real break out after several months. I wish I can buy bitcoin but it seems it is impossible yet to me. However, I want to notify with this thread so that I have also a basis when I will buy bitcoin.

ETH price after a significant breakout on the Jan 14 experienced the consolidation forming a flag pattern. Inside the range, there were several diapason trading opportunities. Further possible scenario is a bullish impulse in the foreseeable future.  Cheers!
