[Dev - Blog] Creating a new, fun gambling game for Bitcoin

Hey there everybody,

I'm new to the forum, but have been in the cryptospace since ~2017. I've enjoyed playing various dice / crash games, and I've come up with (in my opinion) a really fun game to play in a browser, with cryptocurrencies (with BTC being the main currency).

I can build websites, however I cannot program in any language. So, I would like to ask: are there any devs here that are interested in a collaboration? It should be quite easy to make with 1 person that has a lot of free time, or maybe a really small team (me + 2 others) if free time is an issue.

I already registered the domains (I've got a .com and .io domain).

I just had a question for fellow bitcointalkers: how would be the optimal way to "share" your game idea with others, without them stealing the idea and not helping you? The solution I thought of was the following: make a 2/2 (or 3/3) multisig wallet, and let the ones who want to join deposit a "significant" amount in there, that will only unlock when all parties agree that the project is finished, but does not let me steal their money as they also have to concent that the product is finished. Maybe use these funds as initial capital for the "bankroll" or so.

So, this thread started as a way to find some people who could help me, but I realized that I wanted my project to be made with people I can meet in real life. A day after I posted this thread, I actually found a userinterface / user experience designer that liked my idea's, and said that he would help me.

I am turning this first post in to a summary on how the development of the game is progressing, and I hope that you all try out my game sometime as soon as it is finished! I'm really excited to make this, as I have not seen a game like this previously, it's quite creative.

So, here I will scribble down the devnotes in the future:

• 08/06/2019: meetings with my UI/UX designer is set, code developer is checking if he has enough time, but the designer knows some people that might join if necessary

I have been thinking about how I want to manage this project, and I think I want to manage it with people that I can meet face to face, and form a real partnership, not an online anonymous partnership.

So, I have been searching for some people, and I've found a UI / UX designer in my neighborhood  that really likes my idea, and I'm also in conversation with a developer that maybe wants to help me. He would check if he could make some reservations in his schedule for me !

I'm honestly really passioned about this game, I really believe that this is going to be fun to play for people, I am SUPER stoked to start making this with a small team.


I think I'm going to turn this thread into a "dev blog", so that I can keep everybody updated on the progress. I hope that you guys (and girls!) will like it as much as how fond of it I am.

So for now: a meeting is set with my UI / UX designer and if my developer does not have enough time, the designer said that he knows some guys that are maybe also interested. I will update you all on the progress and how the meeting turned out once it has commenced!

I will add a TL;DR in the first post so that progress can be tracked easily. If I have any questions or need some help I will also ask it here

Not yet, not yet It's not that its a hard to make idea or so, it's just that I do not want copycats before I've even started  But it is definitely refreshing and not "yet another dice / crash game", in no way it's close to those things.

I just wanted to share some ideas since you wanted to create a fun gambling platform for Bitcoin ,
Why not make it a betting platform where you would host the professional games and also host an amateur where people could set up their match using your platform,
And people from your site could also bet on those amateur players.

A little bit intriguing but lets see if this wont disappoint current gamblers of this market.We would always like to see

some gambling games which is unique and havent been seen before.If its not an another dice/crash game then its is possible that would

I was about to say this, and stay away from this members in this community. So it good to hear that you find someone near your place that will help you out with the development of your project. I'm also a gambler myself so it also excites me to hear someone joining and giving us a breath of fresh air. Last game I was excited was the rocket.run crash game, but it simply died down on me. So I'm looking for a new one and I hope you can deliver it. Goodluck.
