During the past 4-5 months, Ethereum has been on a constant retreat against Bitcoin. Many of the important support levels were breached recently. First it was the 0.03 BTC level, followed by 0.025. Once these were breached, 0.02 didn't took much time. At 0.018, it looked like the prices were stabilizing, but that level was breached as well. Now the next target for traders is BTC0.015 per coin.

In past 24 hours. The prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum has now fallen by more than 3% in U.S. Dollar.
 1. Bitcoin price drop in daily peak, this dominant cryptocurrency is actually down six percent. BTC at its low in daily volume in steep sell off or 5% to 10% thus tends to see an increase in daily volume.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

What happen to tokens if ETH drops 35% more?

If they are both dropped their price in the market it means lets avail the chance to buy em while their price was on stage of cheap value.
For me this is a good opportunity and this is normal too before the bull run will come to both coins in the market.

I think that this rhetoric is already outdated, because every time there is talk of falling cryptocurrency prices, many users speak out in support of the opportunities that will give low prices for investments in cryptocurrencies.  If you follow your desires, then it would be generally nice to return Bitcoin prices at the 2009 level.  What do you think, how will all this affect the entire cryptocurrency market and people's attitude to cryptocurrencies if we see such a deep bottom?

I do not want to think about it, but I have to do it. Suppose, these cryptocurrencies can fall even more, as the bulls and the bears are struggling now. If the bulls lose in the current struggle for dominance, then in the coming weeks, Bitcoin runs the risk of depreciating to support levels on the weekly chart, located around 7800 dollars, and Ethereum might also lose at least 15%.
However, close to 2020, they will grow fast.

Altcoins is still good Ethereum already drop more than 50%, remember on its all-time high it was traded at over $1000 but now as I'm writing this, they are at $173 just last month they bridge the $200 mark.

Bitcoin and Ethereum drop like 3% has nothing to be concerned about, they are still ok even at 10% drop which happens from time to time, it's highly volatile market and very exciting times, you must always expect the unexpected, most important is you do not put everything here, and you still have a job and business to rely on.

I hope you don’t miss that the thread you are quoting is from December 2018 when the huge crashes from the value happened and people are in panicking to what will happen in 2019

On the other side yeah you are right that falling prices specially these two Top ranked currencies can bring us profit if we take advantage and buying from dumping but we also see that market got recovered just this second quarter meaning another months of holding from December last year

That will be Bitcoin's season. The alts are really underestimated and the prices of the good alts are very cheap. This is also a good time to buy and hold it until the Bitcoin trending is over.
Then the alts will increase very strong and the cycle will return to normal.
I believe that the season of alts will come soon, we need more patience.

Altcoin season will be over before bitcoin season can ever be over, the only thing that would just happen is that we will have a time that bitcoin will slow down in its dominance for a long time and you could almost confuse it for a stable coin, and when bitcoin remains stabilized, most altcoins will tend to start increasing in value and probably have their own bull run, which is when many investors starts pumping money.

For now, most stable coin will continue to drop including the Ethereum that is their leader till bitcoin dominance remain stagnant a little. While bitcoin remains dominant, any decrease we see is just the normal corrections that usually accompany the coin before it goes on breaking more barrier that will keep adjusting and shifting us to its peak price.
