The Silk Road was shut down mostly because of illegal stuff being bought and sold on the platform.
Do you see the same or something similar happening to Vitalik Buterin in the future because he made a platform that people can use to scam other people with(ICOs on the Ethereum platform)?

Ross Ulbricht: computer programmer convicted of money laundering, computer hacking, conspiracy to traffic fraudulent identity documents, and conspiracy to traffic . His intention was to do money laundering, computer hacking, etc. He was directly involved in the act.
Vitalik Buterin: computer programmer and founder of an open source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract (scripting) functionality. Buterin cannot be held accountable for other's people actions. He is not directly involved in scam crowdfunding schemes.
