Better adoption rate for ETH

Speaking in terms of infrastructure, Ethereum is the 2nd largest crypto to launch to date, with unmatched adoption of its network, viability in the public and reliability among traders/exchanges.

Therefore, any major upgrades that will enhance the core of Ethereum's network, can only be a good step forward for the entire network and for adoption rates. Most projects are whitepaper projects, with little outside of transacting and trading a crypto. We are in that era where big projects are still heavily in development or haven't fully realized their platforms capabilities or outreach to mass audiences.

There are a few exemptions, of course ETH is one of them, but there's ultimately a handful of really use able cryptos (on a day-to-day basis) and truly ready for mass adoption outside of the crypto sphere.

Most cryptos suffer in terms of being accessible to the everyday person, with complicated terminology, interfaces and lack of integration within the real world (which 99% cryptos suffer from).

Ultimately, ETH 2.0 will only be a step forward for adoption.

Do you only want the increase when Ethereum applies POS. I think to get an ETH price increase you don't need to worry because soon the altcoin will go up this year. Yeah, you only need to buy more ETH now.

By the way, the implementation will be realized next year, well now we are grateful for that, maybe this will be good news for ethereum.

adoption can only occur based on the utilities that something offers and the usefulness, and ease of use of those utilities. when a coin switches its mining algorithm from PoW to PoS nothing changes in the utilities it offers or the large number of issues that it is facing, some of which are unsolvable like its scalability issue.
so my answer is no, there won't be any change in adoption rate of ETH.

I think the opposite, even though you don't think there has been a change in the level of adoption, but I think that there will be even a few. Because when the switch from PoW to PoS will make good fundamentals to investors. And this will be an increase for ETH, but I don't know whether it will last long or not, I think it's only temporary.

I think it's good if ETH applies POS for improvement. But there are other better ways to increase prices. It all depends on ETH and I believe in the sophistication of ETH as a good coin.

Bartolo is right the whales will be the winner here.
Adoption? ETH have been so long in the crypto industry and trust have been planted to many users. I dont think just because there will be a staking that will happen it would grow that fast. NO! Investors are staying because they have faith with ETH and not because of mere staking.

You are assuming that Adoption= investors which is wrong IMHO.Adoption = more usage, efficiency and added value to companies.It's true that whales will get the biggest part of the pie, but like I said POS is here to make ETH more scalable which means more adoption.

i don't think we can call that "adoption", the only thing that can happen is a new group of speculators that would want to earn some free money which they could dump and make profit. [...] "free money" they get and the unlimited supply will start to show its pressure on the market and start reducing the price again.

In both case, either it is POW or POS, there is always rewards given to miners in the first case, to stake holders in the second case.Therefore,I don't think switching to POS would make any change in terms of inflation and price if it's done properly.

I also think so. Ethereum is already a popular coin and its POS would help boost its popularity even more. I am desperately waiting for POS to happen, and want to get some ethereum though it.

If so, then there will be a large pump because many people will buy large amounts of eth for permanent profits while earning daily income from POS. Hopefully what happens is in line with expectations, not vice versa.

This is a hard question. I think that is almost impossible. However, if this happens, there are too many scenarios. It's too risky to do that.

I more on the fence with POS. I saw a lot of POS coin out there and although they have the momentum at first, slowly going decline.
Hope ETH could implement a perfect POS that could bring in the profit for both miners and holders.

It might help a little. But if you need a larger amount of ETH just to get a higher stake then it is just the same as the manipulation that is happeningg by now.
We wont know if not tried. It might get worse or it could lift it up.

I believe that the price would raise significantly. Mining would become unprofitable and people would need to buy more coins on exchanges, that will boost volume and the price. I believe no date was announced yet, but it should be done soon.

Most likely, POS will be aired for the benefit,since many have already been disappointed in its functionality. Ethereum needs major updates that will be able to attract more new participants to this platform.

yes I think so too that they need to renovate their project or maybe if the shipping costs using the cheaper erc20 platform there will definitely be many who are interested in or remain with this ethereum platform. because usually people prefer cheap shipping to make transactions
