You normally get 1450 GH on sp10s, so you should probably calculate with that.
In what mining pool SP-10 get a really this speed?

Price (No Discount, Including Shipping) S2: $2359, 1000GH = $2.36 per GH SP10: $2888, 1400GH = $2.06 per GH
Price (Discounts, Including Shiipping) S2: $1959, 1000GH, $1.95 per GH SP10: $2620, 1400GH, $1.87 Per GH
Power S2: 1000 GH, 1000W = 1w/GH SP10: 1400 GH, 1200W = 0.85w/GH
SP10: $2620, 1400GH, $1.87 Per GH SP10 $2888 1400GH/s =$2.06 Per GH Either do it WITH discounts or do it WITHOUT, I provided both. Using a discount on the S2 and none on SP10 makes your figures wrong. And as I said earlier, I'm not cheerleading either, the A1's beat both.

When people say that the rig is pulling 1050 they mean using their watt-o-meter, all the slightly lower efficiency means is that it pulls a few Watts more from the wall. 1050 watts at the wall in the case of the PSU on the S2 would mean its probably providing 916W to the miner (87.3% efficient) in fact in order to provide 1000W to the miner it would be pulling 1154W from the wall My kill-a-watt reports just on ~ 9 amps on a US 120v circuit for the S2, when cranking …. 9A @ 120V = 1080W 9A @ 110V = 990W I thought the US was on 110v?

mine took from the 25th to the 4th to arrive busted up - and the whole journey is only about 1000miles with 99% of it in the air.
now im trying to get a replacement board & clarification if the power board/boards with missing & broken caps are safe to run and bitmain insists on asking me to try again, and again, and again and reapply thermal paste and try again.
one DEAD board is much less than i expected from the state it is in - but the enquiry as to if it is safe to run or not has thus far been ignored half a dozen times.
I know that happens a lot, but the shipper needs to take some level of responsibility on that. Yes Bitmain could pack better, but they have made changes on their end to try and mitigate damage in shipping, however at the end of the day if UPS drop kicks your package to the door, you're going to have issues.. I'm sorry you had issues, but if I was in your position I would do this … get the unit running and hashing with one main control board, and one of the GOOD hashing boards.. After that add cards to the back plain starting with the LEAST damaged cards first. Each time, see that the unit powers and identifies the card . If it makes you feel better, don't put the cards that have damaged caps in.. but I would at least try to get the unit hashing on some level.. There are a lot of tricks to the S2 unit so take it slow . In the back ground, continue to work out issues with Bitmain. I have worked with their support, and believe it or not they DO want to help, most of the time they can resolve the issue so that you have a fully working unit . Bitmain is one of the only vendors I can say that about .. I'm sure their are more who do a good job, but its risky to try out new vendors at these prices .. It's a large investment .

The most common pair is 120/240 bit there is 110/220. Actual voltage at outlet can vary 3-5% because of other factors like distance and wire size as the power is delivered to the house.

People can debate it to the end of time.. Bitmain HAS the better buy ! I looked at Spondoolie and considered a purchase from them but here is one fact that you can not get around … Spondoolie builds a more solid machine NO DOUBT, however these machines have a life cycle of about 9 to 10 months max. In two years 99% of these machines will be boat anchors, so a MORE SOLID machine is not going to get you ANYWHERE ! Bitmain builds the machine that is going to get the job done at the lowest cost for the amount of time that the machine will be "in the game" . It's that simple ...

Not sure if anyone else is noticing this, but my S2 doesn't seem to like the cold. My pool hashrate seems to drop when the boards are mostly below 500 and when I close the door to the room and let them heat up a little, the hashrate increases.
This seems to be opposite to the S1's which seem to run better in the cold than the hot, which probably has to do with the underclocking of the S2.

It sounds crazy, but I'm happy to give it a try. All my blade save one run between 40-48 degrees. I'll (gently) crank down the A/C in the room and see what happens!

He said his circuit was at 120v drawing 9amp, so you cant then say the circuit is at 110v and multiply it by the amps. if it were at 110v it most likely would be at a higher amp to match the 1080w. volts at the wall varies 110-120. it is best to use 115v when building out circuits. The 110-120 is 1 phase off a 220-240 circuit. All houses in the US are fed 220-240 from the pole to power ovens, large ac units, dryers etc and then the legs are split off 110-120 for outlets/lights etc in the house.

And here's something even crazier... when mining on Eligius, I seem to notice my pool hashrate drops if I don't open the Eligius stats page in a browser somewhere on my network. It's almost always just under 1TH in the morning and once I've turned on my pc and open the browser and refresh every 10-15 mins, the hashrate slowly increases, same with the S1... but maybe I'm just watching too closely

Looking for some advice.
Firstly I'm in Canada. I'm looking to order an S2. Now, should I order from 112 or bitmain? Can anyone advise? I'm thinking about lead time, possible shipping damages, warranty issues/return shipping, customs declarations.
If anyone has some input, I'd love to hear it. Also, if anyone has an S2 coupon, my ID at Bitmain is: bit_NINj4 (thanks xoun!)
Thanks in advance and cheers!
