The countries you have stated here is few compared to what I saw someone post in this forum, sourced from Wikipedia. There are already lots of countries that have declared Bitcoin as legal, and a few of them that are unsure about where they are going with Bitcoin, and those that have declared it as illegal are just a few countries. If you check Wikipedia you will see the countries where Bitcoin is illegal marked with red and the places where they legal marked with green, then the rest that has no rules are marked with Grey. The list is being updated as well.

But I don't understand what you mean by bitcoin-friendly, do you mean the country has legalized transactions with bitcoin or is it a relief for investment with bitcoin, but besides that country there might be countries where the government or organization has enough bitcoin  a lot too.

You can add Philippines on the list.  The government had started engaging with fintech development  and cryptocurrency.  The country also see Bitcoin as mode of payment and had approved several exchanges for cryptocurrenccy.  Even the Phil. Pambansang Kamao  Senator Manny Pacquiao had created his own cryptocurrency PAC coin.

Oh man, you forgot to mention Philippines. This country has a good relationship in terms of using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency where in fact they have regulated their own wallet for the sake of safety of their users.
Oh, that is right, I guess the op omitted that there because I learnt Philippines has even gotten to the extent of promising to pay their citizen Ethereum to clean their environment, this is more like openly declaring support for cryptocurrency, just that I would have loved they pick Bitcoin instead, but anyway, we are all still one body on cryptocurrency.

I don’t think the list is actually complete, I think he only listed those that has open declared their support for cryptocurrency, but we still have so many countries that are neutral about it, they allow cryptocurrency without condemning it, but has not regulated it, like my country.

Even the Phil. Pambansang Kamao  Senator Manny Pacquiao had created his own cryptocurrency PAC coin.

The one related to GCOX blockchain or so?

I think it is not directly related to how the government views crypto though. Pacquaio might do it on his own. IIRC there is others celebrity who also have their own coins on that project, not sure about the development though.

Hey

I think you made the list yourself without seeing the wiki.
Good work for that.

But actually there are many more countries besides this. Like a lot lot more .

Also at the same time you know most major countries who allow Bitcoins are the ones who actually have a very strong economy and fluid government.

The governments who are actually banning Bitcoins are the ones of the developing countries, I don't think that's they can handle economics going down and up .

It is a sign that countries were started to accept crypto currencies and in few years we can see huge name list.

But every countries have their own central banks so it might create some issues for their economy but if government this their welfare of their citizen is important they will support crypto currencies.

There are probably more than that, friendly does not have to mean that bitcoin is legal, just it being neutral is enough to make that country a place where you can freely use bitcoin and you can find a lot of people and a lot of businesses that accept it, for example in France bitcoin is not regulated and it is not banned but you can find a lot of places where you can buy things for bitcoin if you search for them and i am sure all of the eu countries as well have the same state.

IIRC there is others celebrity who also have their own coins on that project, not sure about the development though.

Obviously, development (if that is even applicable to these trash coins) of 'celebrity' coins or just coins they endorse, are mostly pump and dump schemes. If they really cared about crypto, they would allocate money to the development of already existing (honest) projects instead of allowing themselves to be used as billboard in return for gross sums of money.

Andreas Antonopolous two days ago tweeted that he is being offered up to $250,000 by ICO's for his endorsement, which he declined, but many other influential social media characters will accept. This is the sad thing about a bull run, because these scammers can now afford to pay these sums of money again. If there will be an altcoin boom, $250,000 offers will become $1 million offers. Who is strong enough to resist these offers?

Malta is the first place and good for thay country, again my country Philippines will not list in the top 12 but my country is I think bitcoin friendly because the bitcoin population user here extremely growing.

We have support by BSP and banks will want to create their own coin and many exchanger and mobile wallets and even the other store accepts the bitcoin.

There are not many countries that are friendly to Bitcoin at the moment, in some countries they have not fully recognized the existence of Bitcoin. It is the hope of all of us when this digital currency technology is recognized globally in various countries.

Yes, indeed. I expected to see Philippines on the list upon reading the title. Turns out, it wasn't there. But, with all the efforts of the Philippine Government to engage in crypto-based and crypto-related companies, plus the merchants and crypto exchanges, it can really be part of that list.

Even the Phil. Pambansang Kamao  Senator Manny Pacquiao had created his own cryptocurrency PAC coin.

Really? Wow. I did not know that 'til now. Senator Manny is really making his name in every aspect. Cool.

Not sure about every country will allow decentralized currency to rule their economy but if theyy do it will be good think for individual development but might be a great blow for the governments economy.

They won't, but one thing is sure, they want to take advantage of the trend and get profit while it is hot and booming so they will accept it as mode of payment or as a digital asset and encourage start-ups to in their jurisdiction.  More start-ups, more job, more taxes and more income for the government.  It is a mutualism effect where both party flourish.  Though I wonder other government cannot see this kind of relationship and thus they are hostile to Bitcoin to the point  proposing of 10-year jail to  those who are using it.

More countries can be added, based on the data upon which the listing is done on the opening post. These days almost every country has got lot of startups that were completely focused on the blockchain platform. Based on that data we cannot conclude those countries were bitcoin friendly. Majority of the countries stay neutral in this without any form of legal support or opposition to the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. To me Japan and Estonia are the one that has perfectly bitcoin friendly.

I also agree that Japan is a bitcoin friendly country because Japan itself has a lot of real adoption of blockchain technology, especially bitcoin. Maybe Japan is not as famous as bitcoin news in America, but I know this country is a country that has the most contribution to the development of blockchain, especially satoshi is claimed to come from this country.

and for Estonia I am not very sure and know a lot about this country, maybe a lot of ICO projects were launched from this country throughout the years 2017-2018. But I prefer Switzerland as the second country after Japan.

Most of those countries are the best places to set up a cryptocurrency company.
They do not regulate you due to the industry that you are active but they treat you as an ordinary business.
Especially, Malta is the best place in the world to set up your business if you are interested in building something big with little political risks.

We hope that the list will be bigger and more countries will accept bitcoin, which will help bitcoin to be spread in all countries. That will give an impact to another country if the big countries can join and accept bitcoin too so more people will know about bitcoin. If it succeeds to get the big country to join, I think that the bitcoin will grow fast in all country and if that happens, we will see a new revolution in the economy and financial section.
Sooner, theres a lot of countries we have seen on this list will be added. I think if they see and read this some other countries convincing also. I cannot believe that why is that Japan, Russia and Philippines are not belong on the list.

The countries in the list may be the ones that are openly allowed bitcoin to be use by their people but there are other countries where bitcoin are also allowed to be use in any transaction. Some countries in Asia aside from Singapore, Hongkong and Japan are also allows bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to be use by their citizens in their investments and other transactions.
