Why casinos want you to stay long in their area

Pretty big reason why I don't ever go to real-life casinos at all; the entire space just feels pretty closed as a whole and I'd rather just play similar games from the comfort of my own home or wherever I'm travelling. I have gone a few times with friends but never really on my own, and every time I left pretty quickly despite it being a great experience to go with people that I really knew for a long time. The free things and perks are nice, but I don't ever see them as being enough to actually convince me to stay for an extended period of time.

Casino people want you to cultivate the habit of going to their place, they offer great ambiance, foods and drink for you just to stay in their place, in fact, they treat their high rollers like king and queen here, they give exclusivity for these people exclusive room, lady chaperone because there are only a few high rollers actually in every casino.

They give all those nice free stuffs to players because they know they will take all those money in the end 
It's actually a pretty clever idea from a business pint of view.

Well, that was the marketing strategy. Because the longer you've stayed the possible more profit they had. I remember before when there was a movie that related to gambling, in a casino they gave drinks to their costumer and putting like something drugs that people make feel happy once when they are there inside in the casino. Indeed, we have our own full control of our selves we can avoid this scenario.

in the gambling scene there are commonly  two types of people , one is playing for the profit and the other one is playing for the entertainment  but idk if there are gamblers that pays for both purpose  .

But even though lucky people can get a good amount of money on one occasion, if they stay longer, there is an opportunity for them to lose back their money. People must be smart enough to manage their money in this business. There is a common expression here in my place related to gambling. "Winning in gambling is a delayed lose".

They just don't want you to walk away with any money. The longer you play more accurate would be the house winning. It's just mathematics. The more you play the more you lose. No need to worry about the free food and drinks the cost for free foods and drinks would be paid by you.

Of course, that's what they want you to be. You will end up nothing but they will gain full of perks. Even in some online gambling websites, they will give you bonuses, faucets, freebies just for you to stay and to enjoy gambling but in return they will get back everytime you won. They only want to earn by offering some freebies for us to stay not just the whole night but they want our loyalty to give it to them.

I tend to disagree mate on your points though I believe you are right in saying that the Casinos will do everything to make us stay longer,about the windows?thats true they don’t even put clocks just to prevent people to learn the time(but we have all wrists watch so what’s the problem?we also have gadget to check time?or even use as alarm to let us know how long have we been playing)?the problem is gamblers don’t wanna go home without being contented.because a responsible gambler cannot be hindered if thy want to go home and stop playing.but this is their own choice and not the casino personnel

People in the casino wants more people in and some of them are not really making bets, the free foods and drinks are nothing compare to the millions they made from so many high rollers gambling I read one high roller losing $200k in one night, so they want to give as many perks as possible for people to stay and bet.

People just want the real thing. Poker bluffing is just so real when you play with people on the table. We all had played with friends, its just more fun than online. I have never heard of a casino loaning out money, that seems an extremely high risk loan to give out at a casino. Is that common in Asia or something?

Maybe from third parties and if it is not repaid then they can threaten you to give something you have and its unlikely will happen on casinos but in the places where gambling happen illegally then there might be lenders.

I experience to play on the casinos where you need to walk more minutes just to exit, and yeah they really make their casinos to be like this. Also a hotel on top of the casinos are common, for one purpose to let the gamblers stay with them and play longer. Casinos needs to get back their money and make it more by encouraging more gamblers to spend their money. Free drinks can be given to everyone but the food I guess it will only available for those who play with big money.

I feel you man lol,when I first come to the casino that’s how I felt looking for the exit and finding other games that might attract me and stay another time

Whatever freebies casinos can offer will be some sort of encouragement for gamblers to stay, been in a casino like that which also offered hotel rooms for a much comfortable stay, another method to entice gamblers after having some rest the sooner they will comeback and play again same cycle till they run out of money and went home with nothing.

Of course due to profits. The make money when you are in their house and this what they want round the clock. This is the reason they do not install windows and clocks in the casinos. People come and do not keep track of time and as a result keep on gambling for long which benefits the casino. In addition, these people attracts others from their friend circles as well.
